HI Guyz,

I just received a mail stating the following:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

We have reviewed and accepted your application. We have now put your application in the queue for further processing.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter that will include your file tracking number.

Please note that processing is taking longer than usual due the large number of applications in our inventory.

The OINP appreciates your patience as it works diligently to process the high-volume of applications received.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Do NOT submit any documentation to this office until you have received a formal acknowledgement letter from PNP advising that your application has been accepted for processing and advising you of your assigned file number.

Sincerely,

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

A few queries:
1. What does this mail imply. Is it an AOR??
2. Do I need to send them a new DD or wait until I receive a File tracking no.??

No this is not AOR. This is what people have been calling as Pre AOR. This simply means that they have taken up your application for further processing and they have found your documents complying with the checklist so far.

it is a good news.

One Ques: When did ur application reached OINP office?

Is there a standard timeline within which applicants have received AOR post Pre AOR??

My application receiving date was 18th Jan 2016.

Hi All,
I visited by bank earlier today and have confirmation from the Forex team that the draft I submitted to OINP is still valid.
They have agreed to issue me a letter stating the same tomorrow. Will write to OINP tomorrow and will update you all if and when I hear back from them.

A suggestion:

please double check everything again, including the currency (cad or usd). I am sure everything will be ok. Send them a email with your attachments to ontarionominee@ontario.ca with other oinp people in cc

e.g

Christopher Rosati | Manager (Acting) | 416-212-0069 | christopher.rosati@ontario.ca
Dianne Canzius Moura | Team Lead (Acting) | 416-314-3394 | dianne.canziusmoura@ontario.ca
Maria Ma | Senior PNP Officer | 416-326-0209 | maria.ma@ontario.ca
Hakeem Oseni | Senior PNP Officer (Acting) | 416-326-3567 | hakeem.oseni@ontario.ca
Renée Ruel | Senior PNP Officer | 416-326-8090 | renee.ruel@ontario.ca
Meshak Malcolm | Information Support Officer | 416-326-7808 | Meshak.Malcolm@ontario.ca

And request them politely for further details as to why they consider your draft invalid.

Hey guys...got my old dd back today

Did you get the receipt for of your NEW DD getting encashed?

I got my old DD first, and still waiting for them to send me a receipt for encashing my new DD

Hi Guys,
I am looking to apply for OINP when it opens in November. Can someone shed me some light on the process? How long does it takes ?
Do we need to stay in the country during the process of our application? or can we leave for a few months after applying for OINP?
Do they call your company?
How efficient is OINP?
Thanks in advance.

Guys,
I received the acknowledgement of receive on July 22. It says they received in Jan 18th under Human Capital stream, FSW. One question, if I get nomination and my work permit expires and don't get chance to renew my work permit, but stay in Canada as student, does it affect my nomination?
Thanks.

Hello, I have got the email informing that my application (received 29th Jan, FSW Outland) is reviewed and accepted, and I shall get an AOR email containing the file number.

I have two questions:

- how long does it usually take from this point to receive AOR?
- shall I assume that my DD is encashed before expiry or will it be indicated in AOR email to provide a new one?

I cannot confirm the status of DD encashing since I had it issue through a local money exchanger in my country.

Thanks.

I am not even caring about AOR. Started my LMIA process.

Hi, Do you think LMIA will be quicker than OINP process ? My husband has talked with his company's agency. they suggest him go for OINP as it will be easier to acquire Work permit - bridge work permit - during PR waiting time. We heard LMIA process is niggling.

cheers.

Hi Prashant,

Please edit my details in the spread sheet. I received my AOR mail on 19th, but the attached letter is dated 15th. So I think AOR date is 15th July.

I also got request for new DD. Sent it on 22nd July.

Also applied for duplicate WES.
