I have question related to ECA. My ECA is from WES. I have submitted copy of ECA report along with application package. Just now, through this forum, I came to know that we need to send duplicate copy of ECA report also directly from WES to Onratio Immigration. I have not yet done that. My question is:
1. Should I do it now, or wait for AOR. Application package received 20th Jan.'16. AOR Pending
-- It's better you do it now, it will save loads of time and send OINP email about it with WES order copy.
I'm not sure if you know, you can also claim refund of around $41, by raising query in their feedback form that you didn't ask to send copy to CIC because they by default sends CIC and OINP, when you order a duplicate copy for OINP.

2. Is it to be sent for primary applicant only or for spouse as well?
-- Both primary n dependent

Happy friday may OINP think the same way and release more AOR's today.

I have a couple of questions regarding the OINP since my work permit is expiring soon.
I got to know something yesterday which I want to cross check with the folks here, is this correct if work permit expires while the OINP file is in processing the province would not be able to issue the nomination certificate to the applicant?
Secondly, can we apply for bridge work permit on the basis of AOR received for OINP and what are the chances of getting it approved?

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

At 18:24, the guy says "the scores will likely drop below 400 points". Yes, many people have been posting this video but we cannot verify the authenticity. I really hope what this guy is saying is true.

1. IMO yes its true, so we need to make sure that we should make sure our permits are extended during OINP processing.
2. One can only apply for BOWP (according to the various opinions provided by expert forum members)
a. if you are applying under streams other than Human Capital Priorities to OINP then you should request them for a support letter once nomination is obtained to get a BOWP.
b. if you are applying under the Human Capital Priorities Stream to OINP then you can apply for BOWP only after getting the e-AOR and stage R10 marked as passed. e-AOR is obtained once you apply for PR after getting the ITA.

If someone has applied for OINP and theirs WP expires within the processing then what options the person has to still receive the nomination.
As we know people apply for BOWP to buy some time but in most of the cases that get refused but can province nominate you within those two months or not because your work permit is expired but you are now on implied status.
Secondly, just in case they didn't process the file even in those 2 extra months the only option we have is either to apply for study permit or visitor visa but even we go for either of that two option would our OINP file be still valid and can we still expect to be nominated by the province?

In brief, if I have applied for OINP and I have a valid status in Canada could be Student or Visitor or Implied would I still be eligible to get nominated by the province for my application submitted when I had a valid work permit.

I am so confused and worried, hope your answer would give me a relief.

To be honest with you, they are already prioritizing those applicants whose WP are expiring in near future for giving out the AORs. But I would suggest you FAX them and explain them your situation politely and requesting them to speed up your process and nominate you. Even if your WP expired between AOR and nomination, the OINP wont reject you, instead you need to send them a change in personal info form filled with new contact details so that they can reach out to you in case if required. Also try applying for student permit. Applicants are trying that option as well. I have read people doing that on this forum so suggesting the same. Please pick which ever suits your situation.

I have received my AOR, may I ask where I could find the initials of my case officer?
