I've been following this thread but did not really post anything. I received the AOR today:

Application received: 25 Jan
File number: XHEC-1604***
Category CEC

Congrats.... For AOR...

Are there different number series for FSW and CEC as had noticed the below prefix
XHEC - CEC
XHSW - FSW

Any idea on these....

I called them today...two hours back and talked for a while.

According to me they don't pick India number easily these days.

@MZASAM believe me sending new DD is good in a way. In December group i am the only one who is not asked to send new DD, at it makes me worry sometimes. Instead they would have asked me to send one.

We hope so too, but the chances of that are slim.... i m guessing it will take atleast 4-5 weeks to get that far at the current rate..

there were no application recd on 23rd 24th 30th 31 st so it wont take more than 3 weeks max.

25th jan app got AOR today. so only few days remain.

What if the draft is expired.. can we get that money back.. It might be a stupid question but please reply if you know exactly?

yes they will ask you to send new DD and return the old DD. Doing so you might have to invest for 20 to 25 days only along with some exchange rate.

But when do they send it back to you? I received the AOR on July 14th and I sent the draft along with my application which is first week of Jan.. and the bank associate said that it is valid till 6 months ... which means that is already expired..
One more question, do they send your draft details and aor altogether? because in my email they send me two documents ; AOR and kind some receipt saying my address and information with the amount..

did everyone received the same ?

Dont worry if they have not asked you to send new DD it means they have either en cashed it or they will send you email to send one. They have asked 2 applicants in December to send new DD after 15 days of receipt of AOR. So nothing to worry just relax if they have not asked you in the AOR.

Nothing much would happen. you will create new EE profile and link the old one. than send the details to OINP to change the EE profile number. Done. so simple
