OINP - International students is a non EE stream so nothing to do with IRCC/EE draws. So you need nomination and approval by OINP to then apply for PR through IRCC.
If you have EE Profile, update the nomination under valid job effer that you are nominated and submit , and wait for the draw . you will get ITA for PR 100%.
Even if you did not submit your EOI to OINP and you are in EE Pool with good CRS, you will be invited to apply for OINP . All PNP keep scanning the EE Pool for potential candidates.
What is your score? Is your NOC selected? Is employer eligible and supporting your nomination?
Do you have a job ? then you can apply. but make sure your employer can endorse it.
You need to graduate and get a job to qualify . International student stream is employer job offer.
Go on the OINP site and read the rules. You need a job offer and employer willing to support your nomination by filling in the employer forms, and many employers will not. It is also points based - TEER, salary, location, education, language skills etc.
If you're worried about your status in Canada, if anything you should have implied status with your extension application. You can also apply for a closed work permit with the support letter you got along with your OINP nomination.
