Finally some movement. I am hoping all June 1st week move into assessment this week.
Its not really about patience, its about planning for the future. Without any clarity how will we be able to plan things.
June 5-6 assessment went into DIP.
After that no DIP news? some submitted once are getting assessment which is fine.
Assessment they will do quickly so that no refund needs to be given
We won't. You can't really bank on emigration and that's how it has always been since 1900s even. Emigration is a huge deal and it will always be uncertain. A first world country is basically giving you a green light to become a citizen in the future. Without proper scrutiny I wouldn't actually want to move to a country like this. That's the whole reason why we are moving. They have set standards and unless we meet those we are not getting the PR. So I am okay with waiting. And if they reject, it was their decision. Can't curse them and still want to move there. That would be hypocrisy.
Sorry to say but I guess we all watch news and we can see what diverse quality of people have reached that country... I am not against proper checks but lets be honest. The ones who illegally enter and stay there forever are not penalized.
The ones who are trying to work hard and do things legally are the ones being delayed.

Guys, chill out. There's enough stress and anxiety already. We don't need more of that on the table. People are dying to get NOI and ITA's. Think about those who are not in Tech and Healthcare. FSW is doomed, CRS has skyrocketed, all program draws are no longer the same. Amidst all this, people on this thread are able to get NOI, which will eventually lead to an ITA when approved. So chill out.
Its just discussing opinions mate. We all are chilled out. Also, tbh worst push comes to shove then I will withdraw my OINP and forget about Canada.

Everyone here will get a Nomination. OINP rejection is very rare. We all will make it to Canada. Good wishes to everyone.

Just a discussion im not calling anyone a hypocrite I am saying we shouldn't be one. As far as the link goes, this is really sad. These people can't even speak English properly (or maybe just pretend). They will end up working at some motel at minimum wage for a long time. We can't compare H1Bs / EE to these people really like the guy does because these are two completely different class of people. One is going to be undocumented and probably deported with never to be allowed anywhere else in the world legally and other one is probably living a very lavish life comparatively.
That's the thing bro, by the time they are deported (if ever they are) it'll be a good 15-20 years. That's how f'd up the system is. Some amnesty group will come in between and get them refugee status. Meanwhile you and I will probably be waiting in the queue forever.
The game is rigged. These people take a flight from India to USA border and claim to be refugees? like how is that even allowed.
Unless you and I want to work at a McDonalds we shouldn't compare ourselves with these people. The game is only rigged if these people are sitting on wall street running hedge funds.
