Hello everybody, l need your advice. I received interest from Ontario, but l don't have my ECA ready. I reside in USA on h1b, l have a USA bachelor degree, and working on my Master degree. I have start the ECA process with the university of Toronto, but my school won't be able to send my transcripts until after December 17th because l owed them the balance that won't be paid until that time. Now l only have 45 days to submit my OINP application, can l send the application package without the ECA? I have my USA transcripts and diploma.

When you are sending your application package to OINP, you will have to submit the ECA report... I would recommend you to ignore your Masters Degree for now, because you have not completed it, and did not have the certificate. Later on when you get it, you can still update your application. Check on the website for WES on how to proceed for ECA

How could you even recieve PT from Ontario without ECA. Unless you have Canadian degree, you are not even supposed to have EE profile active.
Without ECA report of foreign diploma, your application will be rejected. So as adviced before WES is best option.

the evaluations could take long, and i advice you to not get scared, you can delete your account and create an other one as the letter of interest goes automatically to the profiles that are interesting ontario

Hi all,

Just to share with you that I got an ECA request on 30th november. A copy was sent the day after.
Do not forget to send a copy of your ECA report proactively, you will avoid unecessary application delay...
