What is the best way to make the fee payment from India?

demand draft in favour of OINP. Do tel your bank that it has to be payable at ontario. They might issue you a DD of some of their partner bank. I went to HDFC bank and they provided we a DD of Scotia bank.

i prefer asking Bank to give you a demand draft which is AT PAR.

I had approached HDFC for a DD and was asked to submit 15CA/CB form along with the DD application. Just wanted to know if TDS will be applicable for this remittance?

It would help if you could mention under which section this remittance is exempt from TDS (if that is the case)... required to be filled in the form 15CA

You need to go to your bank and ask for a Demand/Bank Draft in the name of "Minister Of Finance Ontario" for CAD $1500.

I took a DD from ICICI bank and they asked no such forms. They only wanted my PAN number. I got the DD in 5 hours.
