I personally think that transparency is the best approach. I don't see a problem with your thought process. With that being said, this has deviated quite far from the main purpose of this discussion topic. I would recommend that you get other people's opinion by posting in a more appropriate thread. Perhaps consider opening a new discussion thread in the Express Entry secion and you'll get the opinion of individuals that are far more experienced than myself.

Pretty new on here but I have spent hours going through different threads and have been unable to find an answer to my question, any help would be appreciated.

My employer received pre-screen approval on March 13th and I am getting ready to submit my application form. I have been working with my employer for 2 years and 11 months so I meet the 2 year experience requirement through my current job. My question is related to previous jobs which I have listed under "personal and work history" and which falls under the same NOC code:

Am I required to submit reference letters for each of these previous positions even though I meet the 2 year requirement in my current job? I don't think I will be able to get these letters easily.

Looks like you are foreign worker right ? ( not international student)
As long as you meet program requirement which is 2 year experience , you should be OK.
If you are unable to get reference letter from previous employer, just attach whatever you got from them.
it could be t4 statement for the year you worked there , could be contract.,Pay stubs.
Explain in a page that you were unable to get reference letter from previous employer.
