OINP Employer Job Offer Stream Requirements

Hello,

I have been working in my current job for 1.5 years now on my PGWP. I want to apply for OINP under the international student stream, however the job offer requirement seems to be less than 6 months Speed Test https://vidmate.bid/ . Can I ask my employer to generate a job offer for this even though I have been working here for 1.5years? I'm trying to understand the rationale of this requirement.
