My colleague just got approved today..

My status was is DIP for two weeks, supposed to get approved today, but all of a sudden change to awaiting information.

Following that, I got a letter requesting for a list of information that I need to provide.

So.........

I got an email regarding fairness request. It states the date on job offer was way older than 6 months. I had to update it and sent today.

What you mean they do not ask any additional docs during DIP status?

Throughout the process, initially they had request for copy of passport. After, they did not request any more documents. Around July 10, my colleagues start to receive letter from OINP request more information demonstrating the progress that we have made to obtain a license for my profession as the profession is regulated. I did not receive my letter requesting that Information, but I still send in all the documents demonstrating that. On July 14th, my status had then changed to DIP. Once in DIP, I thought it means that they are happy with the documents I had submitted.

Just today, I received a letter of fairness procedure, they are requesting a copy of my job offer, paystub, and more evidence on me in progress of obtaining a license.

I further investigated my original application, so it had turned out that I submitted my co-op job offer twice by mistake instead of submitting my actual full-time job offer.

I am disappointed that they have not approach me with this error sooner during the assessment stage. It has been two months since my submission of my application.

I also googled the fairness procedure letter, so clearly this is a letter that they send you right before they were planning to reject you. This letter is your final opportunity to demonstrate your qualification. In addition, the fairness process will also take longer than usual because your application is entirely reviewed by a separate senior officer again who wasn't associated with your application before.

Hello everyone, congratulations on everyone who got the nomination.
I'm looking for help, registered today for the account (since it was opened again) for the International Student with the job offer.
Based on what I'm reading here after you get the "approved" stage you have to apply paper based which takes 16 months. Isn't it better to wait for 1 year work experience in canada and apply for Express Entry and you also don't pay the 1200$ fee? I have studied for 2 years in Toronto for Computer Programming and I have a job offer. Please advise what you think I should do?
Thank you
