Hey Folks,

I sent my paper based application to Sydney NS on Oct 6, it was delivered on Oct 9. However I did not received any email from CIC with number or something.

Is that normal?

Thanks for information. Your timeline is so fast even though you are not frontline worker, single applicant and didn't do upfront medical. I envy you. Why do you think you are so fast? Any idea?

I don't know... I think that I was a little bit lucky as I got the biometrics 2 days before all the ServiceCanada close due to covid and got a analyzer on fire!

I lived two years in Brasil, therefore I will need to present a Brazilian Police Clearance. Could you please let me know what was the process you followed for ?

I don't know... I think that I was a little bit lucky as I got the biometrics 2 days before all the ServiceCanada close due to covid and got a analyzer on fire!

I am pretty sure that the upfront medicals helped us!

My AR was May/19/2020 and I am waiting for AOR. My PGWP will be expired June/2021. Yes, there is still time. I am worried about OHIP renewal. Service Ontario renews OHIP card only when applicant shows valid work permit. I will apply first closed work permit soon. By the way, do we apply closed work permit one more time if PR doesn't come within first closed work permit? Just in case.

A PDF document is generated. After that, send this PDF to a notarized translation and attach both documents (Translated and in Portuguese) to your application.

Good day everyone! Pls I'm new here, and for long I have been eager to relocate to Canada, all my efforts prove futile. I had a link to job platform who usually hints up on current job in Canada, sadly, whenever I want to apply they would asked me if I've work permit. Same goes to. Visa application; they would also asked me I have any job offer, this has been a big change in between the dissing visa application and job offer. Pls, I need help, possibly if anyone can pls link me up to any employer who would invite me via employment. I studied Mass Communication. I'm currently doing my Master's, done with cours work, remaining just the project (thesis). I was teaching in college in Nigeria under Federal govt N-POWER program before the government removed over 500,000 volunteers, while the hotel where I had worked could not come back after the lifting of the covid19 lockdownand. Yes, you need to approach OINP and they will reissue a new work permit support letter using which you can reapply/renew for a closed work permit.

Mine is 2173 as well - Embedded Systems Software. Nothing much happening in my application. Looonnnnggg calm. Did upfront medical as well. Lets see. Fingers crossed - Citizen of India - Inland.

@chivinas / Others, what happens after the upfront medicals are submitted? Mine were submitted only yesterday, after 30 days due to series of bad-lucks, COVID related delays etc. What should I expect next? Will the online profile show the change of medical submitted and/or passed? Or should I raise GCMS to find out? If GCMS, how many days later, after the medicals are submitted by the doctors?
