Maybe it's better to inquire about this. You're having permit upto 2022 which is best. But, if you're changing the job, then you are supposed to provide closed work permit with your future employer name on it. Also OINP says, a person need to inform the job change (company change) as a mandatory, not the position change, pay rate change. So, they'll issue new WP support document which supports Closed WP from IRCC.

Thanks, but I am not changing the job. I am working with the employer that filed the employer form and sponsored me, and I will still be working in the same work, same position, same pay rate.

Your guess is as good as mine ! Although it's still under 90 days processing time, an application being stuck in a same status for more than 45+ days does not make sense to me. I should have cheated with my age .. High likelihood is that agents might have a lot on their plates. Who knows, case will go in directly DIP, Lol, that's just a wishful thinking. I am just holding my horses as calling them does not shake their tree.

Submitted application: September 16
Assessment : October 18
Awaiting information : October 31

Probably will be processed in January? Will be very unfair to just reject all pending application because of ceiling. Its not really our fault as such , or is it?

Same case as mine. My employer replied. But need to see when it would change back to another status. Fingers + All body parts crossed
