Congrats! I’m really happy for you. Please can you shared more light on how you navigated your situation when your work permit expired and you had to stop working. I’m just curious because I’m approaching a similar situation. What status were you on if you don’t mind before you finally got a response from OINP?

Please, I really will appreciate if more people who had their work permit expired and who had to stop working and then finally got their application approved by OINP share their experience because I find myself in a similar situation and I’m really confused on what to do. What did you guys do when you were out of job based of expired work permit in other to maintain a legal status. I will appreciate responses from people with actual practical experience. Here’s my situation. I have just submitted my EOI in the OINP portal because I only just got a job offer and my work permit expires in February 27. I acknowledge this is a very extraordinary scenario and that’s why i am seeking for response from people who have been in similar situation and was able to navigate through. Any shared experiences will be deeply appreciated. Thanks in anticipation

My employer nominated another employee in October 2024 in Foerign Worker-Job offer Stream, and their application was submitted in the same month. As my employer is located outside the GTA and needs three full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents, they currently have four such employees. Now that the calendar year has changed, would I be eligible for nomination in 2025? Also, can my employer nominate me now, or do they have to wait until the previous nomination is approved?

Planning to apply OINP Joboffer, Foreign worker stream.
I wanted to know if anyone with NOC 10012 or NOC12102 here?
- All my papers are valid for 10012, TEER 0 or 1
- But in case I cant reach the median wage will it be fine to downgrade to TEER2 on any of NOCs below

I need this to finalize my job offer that could match more than the median wage,
