Yes, you can have 2 at the same time. The link you posted confirms it.
Use the most recent one and include both when you upload the pdf (and a letter of explanation, just saying why you have 2).
Thanks! I have currently specified the first one, which is the older, because it’s a stream that is attached to my Employer, and I thought that I need to use the same Work Permit, which I used during the employment. Should I change it to the newer one in the profile then?

If both are open (as you mentioned), it is not like you are "using" it for your specific employer. That would be the case if it was closed.
An open work permit allows you to work for any employer during the validity of the work permit.
I assume your new WP is valid for longer than the old one, right? The old one will expire first?
That is up to you, but I would personally indicate the new work permit date and attach the old one with a letter.
You just need to show you had legal status before and legal status now (regardless of the employer since it is open) and for the duration of the (until) nomination.

Thank you! As I understand now, it’s not critical to specify any WP in the Expression of Interest, I just need to prove my legal status. But it’s mandatory to describe it properly in details in the Letter of Explanation after nomination?

Hello everyone, please i need help. I got nomination with AAIP under rural Renewal stream path way. But had issue with employer business name (Foreign employer) not being active on CAC website during the PNP but I was able to proof to the officer handling my file that though the company is not active on CAC portal, its showing struck off but it is active physically. I sent in taxes paid, signage and contracts gotten from state government, and was given nomination on that basis. Now my employer have started the process of reactivation and has made necessary payment but the portal did not allow to pay for the last year and we are asked to go to court for court order so the process can be completed and this always takes months before judge seat, after judgement, it takes another 14days to get the judgement which is the order. Now the court hearing date is next year June. This means the employer business name would be inactive while my application is ongoing. Please note the PNP also saw this infact then it was even struck off but I was later granted nomination after my loe and submitted documents. Now I have applied for PR and waiting for AOR. I am scared cos of employment verification, I might not have the luck I had during PNP.

Please what can I do, and way forward,
how can i handle this?

...and you think this is the best advise you can give? I know I will surely overcome this issue. All the best to you
Yes, the best advice is to wait and find out what happens to your PR application. This has nothing to do with OINP so don’t hijack threads or post many times. It doesn’t help and people will not respond.
