Did anyone receive any PT's or nominations of Interest for the profiles created in or after Feb 15th ? I know they have been stopped for now but was just wondering if anyone did ?

I am really sorry to hear this and hope everything goes right at the end. However, I would like to ask if the returned bank draft can still be used seeing that the waiting period is now well over 3months and the validity of the draft is only 180days. Can anyone throw more light on this please?

The returned draft must be re-issued so that it is valid for next 6 months.

I guess you mean a nomination not an invitation because I suppose you already have a PT Interest. If I am correct, then you stand a good chance of getting the nomination as long as you meet their requirements and your application is complete with all supporting documents. OINP returns application only when it is necessary; other than that, the success rate is quite commendable. Hope this helps.

In case you mean Nomination:

If your documents are pretty much complete as per the guide then I don't think there is a less than 100% chance. Because they never issue an invitation unless they have a quota!

In case you mean Invitation:

I think if you're saying your don't have a PT letter of interest in your CIC inbox, then I am afraid they can refuse and send you back your application. Because they say in their guide and I quote:

C. Who may not apply?
You may not apply to OINP under the Human Capital Priorities Stream if:
- You have not received a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario through your MyCIC account;
- You are a refugee claimant in Canada; OR
- You were not accepted into the Express Entry pool.

It is true that no one has received a PT of late but in my opinion, you don't have anything to loose if you create/recreate your profile as long as you have the time to do it especially when its been long you created your profile.

I am bachelor of technology in Electrical but work experience of more than 4.5 years in IT field as an analyst. Age-26. I got S-6, W-6.5, L-8, R-7.5 in IELTS. My express entry profile was created last year 01-09-2015 and its showing 370 points. Do i need to recreate another profile keeping this also ?
Also, can i apply for OINP, or let me know if am eligible to apply for any other province like SINP ??

I think rewriting IELTS would make a lot of difference if you try to get atleast 7.0 in all sections because one of the first criteria for OINP is that you must score above 400 points to get a PT. Creating a new profile would not change your score. I can see you've got age on your side with a good number of working experience so either improving language score or getting a higher degree would get you there.

I have 411 points and opened profile on 8th March, 2016. As of now I haven't received OINP PT invitation. Any idea on how long it takes to receive invite?

In about 4 months, I will loose 5 points for age so I am a little concerned for that. Please guide.

OINP hasn't issued PTs since mid Feb. I suspect they have put it on hold because they already have monstrously large volume of applications to process.

Try to get 8777 LRWS (CLB-9). This will improve your score significantly. To be able to apply to Manitoba, you need to have a friend/relative there, AFAIK.

I think achieving a minimum of 7,7,7,8 for R,W,S,L respectively would surely get you there but in the case you want to try other PNPs, see a list with links below that you can follow to get more information. You can get Manitoba PNP without having a family or friend resident there if you go through Morden community (see the link for Morden for more information). I hope this helps.
