Hi everyone,
Could someone please clarify whether we should include part-time work experience gained during studies in Canada when applying for the OINP Human Capital - FSWP stream? I do not intend to claim any points for them but at the same time, I do not wish to misrepresent my paid work by not showing. They do not have a specific NOC code. Shall I add it in my Work history section or Other activities?

I'd appreciate any guidance/ comment
Thanks in advance!

Hey Everyone,

A common issue I see is people fixating on one stream—like the Master's stream—because they’re unaware of other options. For example, someone with a score of 48 in the Master's stream might feel hopeless, not knowing they could be eligible under the International Student stream with a much better score, especially if their job is in high demand.

The point is, that most people don’t fully explore their options. They either don’t know which programs they qualify for or don’t understand how to assess the best path forward.

This is where data and tools come in. For instance, this free data studio ( https://studio.immigratic.com/oinp.html ) shows OINP priority NOCs and selection patterns, making it easier to understand your opportunities.

I wanted to let you know that there is now an all-in-one tool that calculates eligibility across programs and recommends the most practical pathway—all instantly and for free. If you’re curious, feel free to explore the live demo: https://www.immigratic.com/products/immireport

I hope this tool helps you have a better understanding of all programs you may be eligible for and helps you navigate the complexity of Canada's immigration system.

The OINP - Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream is designed for skilled workers who meet Ontario's labor market needs. To qualify, you must have an active Express Entry profile, meet the CRS score requirements, and satisfy work experience, education, and language proficiency criteria. Keep an eye on targeted draws as Ontario often invites candidates with specific NOC codes or CRS ranges. For detailed steps, visit the OINP website or refer to the latest guide for updates.
