Is it mandatory to submit the letter for intensions to reside in ontario? i do not have any strong ties, only some distant friends (which i dont want to use). i dont want to write anything which is not true (such as job search etc, because i have not done any). it is written as optional, so i dont think they can reject based on that.

anyone with any experience on this?
It's not optional. They invited you to apply to them because they feel you can give something to the province based on your experience, so don't do yourself a disservice by not showing the will to live in the province. You don't have to be overboard with the intentions, just state how you believe you can add value and where you intend to stay within the province and why you want to stay there. It's nothing difficult so just be honest.

Thank you for your response. I have submitted the application already without the letter because in the application it was not a madantory thing and I didn’t think we have to put anything there if we didn’t have. Any suggestions what to do now ? Will they reject? Or will they ask for it later?

Hi, Do you have any idea about funds for OINP and EE.
I am going to make a FIxed deposit of amount equivalent for me n my spouse i.e. 2 people.
I wanted to know that till what time we have to keep this funds in my account, as it is a gift deed.

They won't reject your application because of that as it isn't one of the requirements. What attracted Ontario to you is your occupation and as long as you are able to prove it, you are good to go. Relax.

The 6 months rule doesn't apply when you have been gifted the money. You may or may not put it in a fixed term account, it's you choice. All you need is a document in form of gift deed; to prove that you were indeed gifted the funds.

I got the NOI on 26th August but I am yet to submit my application because work has been stressing me the hell out. However, I plan to peruse the application this week and also submit before the week runs out. Thanks for asking buddy!

Hi Guys, I have 4 years experience at first job. I reached out employer today to obtain pay slip. I am selecting the month of Jan and Dec each year as per OINP application guidance (start and end of period)

a) Manager suggested he can print the salary breakup of requested months on 1 page (in form of table) on company letter head and can sign and stamp as this would be easier than issuing separate pay slip for each month which would be 8 pages and greater hassle

b) Further, he agreed to add column in the same table to show the mode of payment is cash or bank. I think this would suffice for the salaries paid in cash (which are 2 only, for the first year)

Is this fine? Please advise

Dear Members,
Any predictions for the next OINP draw Tech Draw and Human Capital Priorities stream draw ( rest of the year 2020). My NOC is 1122 Professional occupations in business management consulting ) and my husband's NOC is 2173 Software engineers and designers. Both of our's CRS score is at 464 and we both will loose marks for our age in Jan 2021. We have already exhausted all our options . Kindly provide insights on next draw.

Really appreciate all the help. Thanks

This does seem problematic. Please Include a LOE and explain your circumstances
