Hi! I'm new here and have a question, please forgive in case it has been asked.

I've been employed through companies for the past 10 years, but for about one year during this period, I was self-employed. Will I be in disadvantage in any way if I mention it?

I've been working as a consultant at the company but for this period of one year I worked as a translator.

Thank you

yes... I'm currently under spousal open work permit... thank you!
Congratulations. So do companies offer permanent job (without end date) if you are on spouses open work permit? My agent mentioned that they won’t as your work permit itself has end date

Lol.. That surprised me too

May be these candidates were in deep slumber and one fine morning they woke up and suddenly realized that Canada is their destination, submitted the profile immediately

Hey guys! Whats up!

What are the chances of getting nominated by Ontario with a score of 407 and occupation code is 0213 (IT Systems Management). I have also opted for Alberta and Vancouver in my profile as well as Ontario for settling in. In which province do I have a better chance of getting nominated. My IELTS will expire in March next year so I have around 6 months of time to get in.

Right now nobody knows whats with Ontario. They are only choosing French speakers/job offers. So its a waiting game. Alberta you need connections and Vancouver you need a job offer. Choose 'All Provinces'

Thanks for the reply. Can I make that option now (Choose All provinces) since I have already submitted my profile?

Yes, you should be able to edit it. It doesn't matter which province you get nominated. After you get your PR you can move to your desired province. But you must always land on the province that nominated you.

Great, thanks! That was very helpful.

Can you also please tell me one more thing. Like when I click on the dependents link on my profile , it just shows me my spouse's name whereas I do have 5 family member including 3 kids and during the application process I did mention it in my family details. So why does it just shows my spouse in dependent link? Did I miss something while filling the profile ?

And which province is easy to target for PNP these days with a score of 407 and NOC 0213 (IT Managers)?
