Ahh, okay. Thanks Nessa! They are updating NOIs information here http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNOI.html
Its all speculations for us as we dont know their plan... but they may issue some tomorrow as they hv issued just above 275 NOIs this month instead of 500-600 normally they invite..Wonder why there are no NOIs being issued for the HCP stream. It's been close to 2 months since the last HCP NOIs were issued.
Well , Ontario is nearing their targetIts all speculations for us as we dont know their plan... but they may issue some tomorrow as they hv issued just above 275 NOIs this month instead of 500-600 normally they invite..
Correct and in addition 1848 nominations have already been issued and mostly went to 2017 pending cases. And presently they have a huge backlog of 2018 cases to process.Well , Ontario is nearing their target
Total number of NOIs issued in 2018 to date
Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) 2587
French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW) 384
Skilled Trades Stream (ST) 545

Your are mixing up. NOI is not equal to nominations. They have a quota of 6600 nominations out of which 1848 already issued.Thats what nobody knows their way of working.. on other link they have mentioned this..
As of April 11, 2018 NOI issued 1,848 Balance NOI for 2018 are 4,752.. reference link is below

If this is something different then please clarify..appreciate explanations of someone knows..
Ok got it..thanks..Your are mixing up. NOI is not equal to nominations. They have a quota of 6600 nominations out of which 1848 already issued.
Whereas number of NOI issued in 2018 are close to 3500.
Yes but this year they may not exceed as 1848 nominations include people who applied in 2017 since they ran out of quota in 2017 November, and they are being nominated from 2018 quota.Ok got it..thanks..
This means NOI may exceed 6600 considering unsuccessful candidates due to rejections etc...
Ok.. by how much it exceeded last year if u know.. just to get an idea about current years upcoming trend..Yes but this year they may not exceed as 1848 nominations include people who applied in 2017 since they ran out of quota in 2017 November, and they are being nominated from 2018 quota.
That is why they have put a hold on new NOI for HCP since Feb.
Looks like I am in the same boat as you are. However, it all depends on the timing of the next two draws. I am 438 and went on to submit the OINP application to eliminate the uncertainty of CIC cut-off scores. Let's see what happens in the comings draws, until then we at least have an option open !Hi, My application is in the assessment stage. My CRS score is 438 and I am expecting direct ITA in next 2 draws as the latest draw had 441 CRS score. I would like to know if it is better to accept the direct ITA or wait for OINP nomination.
