What is ment here is current residency in the country rather than just short visit.
Here is example:
you lived 3 years in india (work studies or what so ever).
Then you left to a different country and get there official residential status (work visa, student visa....)
While still living in that other country you have shortly visited India (for example 3 weeks holiday there)
If you have asked for Certificate of a good character during those 3 years, that that certificate is only valid 6 months after being isssued.
If however you have asked for such certificate during that 3 weeks holiday, so that one is valid either until you return to india and start living there again or 6 month after being issued (whatever is longer).

What you need to prove in your personal history is your legal status to that other country you live now in.

That is the understanding i got from it.

But if somebody has practical experience with this they can correct me.

Once you get ONIP request on your EE profile, how much time does it take to get the 600 Points?? One year?? OR You get the ITA immediately based on 600 points and you have to wait for processing like so many others are waiting?

If you are already inland in Ontario do you get a BOWP to continue your work permit till you get the PR?? I am asking if it is easier to wait for ONIP if your are already inland??

you get 600 points when you accept nomination, nomination is taking several months, some have been waiting for almost a year...
not sure about the 2nd question - perhaps someone else can answer it .

I believe by "OINP request", you mean "PT NOI from OINP". You will not get 600 points if you get PT NOI from OINP. PT NOI is to tell you that Ontario is willing to see you submit an application to them and if your documentation is fine, they will nominate you. Once you get a PT NOI, you have to submit a complete application package to OINP. OINP will then review your documentation and will nominate you if they are satisfied.

From the documentation on the IRCC website, you can apply for a BOWP only when you have submitted your PR application and your R10 has passed. However, one CEC applicant on the forum mentioned that people are successfully getting BOWPs approved after nomination but before they submit their PR applicaiton.

Post submission of eAPR on an average it takes 5-6 months.

Dear Friends,

I received the PT Notification of Interest last Thursday.
I am collecting documents to send the package.
I have below questions if you can help me:

1) I don't have salary written on most of my reference letters, can i submit a LOE to let them know of my salary. I have payslips for 2 companies out of 4 but other 2 did not give any payslips but i have Work Permit(foreign experience). Would that work? And should i give all the payslips, it would be more 40 pages of payslips if i send all.

2) I have not yet received the hard copy of ECA from WES. Can i send them the web copy of online ECA report and order WES to send a copy to OINP?

3) Should i just send the notarized Bachelors Degree and copy of transcripts or should i also include all the marksheets?

4)What should be included in the resumé? Should it be the ones with which we apply for jobs or any other format is available?

5) There is a logo with "Satyamev Jayate" in hindi on my Birth certificate and do i need to have it translated ? And also birth certificate has the stamp "Translated version of Gujarat Birth/Death Certificate". Is this acceptable ?

6) There was a mistake in my name in the passport. It was corrected by Indian Embassy and i have given a new passport more than 2 years ago. They had only asked me to give the advertisement in 2 x newspapers but they did not ask for an affidavit. Is it necessary to have the affidavit or should i just put the copies of my old and new passport with newspaper ads?

7) My fathers name is differently written on my Birh certificates and educational documents, should it be written in the same way?

if it is on pause for 2016, then that means it will resume for 2016.

If it is done for 2016, then that means it will send invites for 2017 immigration, right?

Noone knows ... they were supposed to resume in november, but it's not likely.
