Hi, this is regarding the owner/operator LMIA . What is the success rate. Is it open for all provinces.what is eligibility criteria for it. Person partially self employed mean to say doing job 5 hours day ,30 hours week and rest of the day is self employed, is he eligible for FSW entry and also for owner operator LMIA.

Yup, its fine. Some people don't even get that automated response, well it hardly helps but you should get a more specific response in coming days, if not email them again.

why would you need balancesheets? Which balance sheets?
-> because am self employed, I have a professional degree. so I have to show Business/company registration documents,contracts,balance sheets to prove my work experience.
Question : any accountant Balance sheets would work ?

Bank docs are the best to prove the funds but if it was given to you by some one then you may need gift deed.
Question : IF I (Myself) add 8K to my bank account, Would they ask me where I had it From ? (truth is in hard times like these (spring revolution) I kept this money available anytime in my office safe)

It should work if signed by C.A. and approved for it legality for outside of India.

I guess, you must be having proof of income you're earning from your customers/clients. How do they pay you? How do you file income tax? Authorities will surely ask for income tax return in your case which is a valid official proof of your income.

I would suggest you to take some advice from your local immigration consultant in your case or may be someone else over here can help you better.

hi guys
am willing to send my package to OINP FSSW
few questions :

- Balance sheets : should these docs be signed by my local government or only by an accountant ?

- Proof of funds : am working in a liberal job, and for few years I saved money but "under the pillow" no banking or saving system can show these savings
so i have 2 possibilities :
1- Put the money in bank 8K and submit my bank account with sufficient funds (8k+5k already in bank)
2- Make a Deed with my brother as if he gave me the money for immigration purposes

what do you guys think would be a cleaner procedure ?

1. you need a copy of tax Assessment. Official copy of Income tax return plus copy of tax paid ( which should reflect in your bank statements)
2. 8k must be distributed in more than one name i.e brother and parents and letter should be taken from them saying This funds were kept reserved for our son's immigration and there is no liability to return the same.


This is only vague idea like prashantduggal said, take some expert opinion too.

My score now is 403, but have not received a PT Notification of Interest from Ontario yet. I wish I could receive PT before my 30-year-old birthday, I have one concer below.

How will my age-growing affect the score during the whole application process? Receive PT, Send all doc to ON, receive nomination, send all doc to Federal, receive final approval?

Will the 403 turn to 399 after ON approve the Nomination, but before the federal approval? Should I inform ON that my birthday is coming so that my overall score will decrease?

Hi Figaro

OINP application guide clearly states that no files without payment will be considered. I suggest you send your payment along with your entire file to be on the safe side.

when did you receive the PT from ON

i am writting a question because i am so confused!
i sent my application under francophone immigrant procedure to ontario. and they sent me back my documents because it was missing the payment! with a letter stating i have to resubmit my file with all the documents within 30 days.
so i don t know if i have to send the same files adding only the bank Draft or update everything?
help please

I got a specific response 2 days after the automated one, though not like that was too helpful. But yeah, you should receive a specific response soon.

Please, can you tell me how to handle this? My application was received on Feb 09, 2016. No updates from OINP yet.

2. I and my spouse recently went on a one-day trip to US. We went and returned back on the same day. How to notify OINP people about this? I saw somewhere that we have to fill "Change of personal info form" for this. But there is a field called "File Number". Since, I haven't received my AOR yet, I don't know my file no. What to write there? Or, will it be suffice, if I just write an email to them attaching the scanned copy of passport pages?

In the past, applicants got rejected due to N/A missing issue but recent trend shows that OINP has already sent the applications back which were incomplete. You could have got it back if something was missing. To satisfy yourself try calling OINP and ask for the application status. They would let you know if it is still in queue or returned.

Wait for your AOR. You had to give travel details (mentioned in your passport) while filing the application. If they ask for latest passport copies then you can send them. Anyway, latest passport copy sent to CIC in future, will suffice your worries.

Ontario will resume sending PT in November.

It will not effect if you get older during the application process.

Age is automatically calculated. You don't need to notify anyone.

To apply/get nomination for OINP, do Engineers need to get license from Professional Engineers Ontario or it is fine without license?
