Is it normal for OINP to start sending additional doc requests to late February applicants while there are still many January applicants waiting for nominations?

I agree. I know it it is frustrating as people who submitted their applications in March are getting additional document requests and people like you and me are stuck in between.

Nope i i submitted my file 23 feb, got aor 18th august, still haven't heard anything back from then since then. has any feb applicant gotten a nomination?? also is that a thing oinp does they ask for additional documents before sending out nominations?? has anyone been nominated without being asked for additional documents?????

Hello folks,
So, after submitting my ECA on Nov. 08 (same day that OINP requested), today I received further document request from OINP.


In order to finalize the assessment of your application, please provide the following documents by the deadline specified below:

1. Official Record of Employment (RoE) from your previous employer "ABC Consultants"

2. Recent letter of employment from your current Ontario employer, indicating your position title and salary

3. Updated bank statements (past 3 months) indicating your current level of savings. Please note that a single applicant must demonstrate access to at least $12,164 CAD - in readily available, unencumbered funds (and/or through ongoing employment).

Notes: the above document(s) can be submitted as email attachment(s). If responding by email, please use the “Reply” feature (which automatically includes the original message) and do not modify the subject line which references your unique file number.

Multiple documents of the same type (e.g. bank statements for several months) should be scanned into one continuous attachment, for efficient downloading.


And yes, they also confirmed that they have received my ECA.

Syedahraza meant two digits after 160 as it is common for everyone from November applications onwards

I got additional documents request, they want updated bank statements for last 12 months. I had just submitted it back in September only, they want my tax certificates for last 4 years, even more, they want my pay slips since I joined my current job that is for more than 5 years. No one knows, how OINP is gonna play :'(

Finally, after a long time, I received my old expired Bank draft today along with the copy of AOR from OINP.
