I just got this as reply from OINP for an email sent July
What is the second stage of processing ?!!! And what was the first.

As far as I know, first stage of processing is where they check the application to see if it's complete or not, after which they issue the AOR. Second stage is where they review the content of the application and then I think the third stage is the final stage where a decision on the application is taken.

Nice that you at least got a response from them! Have they said anything regarding your DD?

Hello, here is an update from me.

I wrote OINP about the minor change of address on August 16, then received a general email requesting me to fax or mail them the form of change of address on September 8.

So what I wish to say is that though OINP is slow in process, it is still functioning somehow. Lets keep our hope up that it will speed up soon.

You can reply to that email and let them know the minor mistake along with the correction.

I got a call from OINP today for additional documents:

My WP expired on 28th June, 2016. I applied for paper application. And no reply from WP extension:

OINP asked me below things to submit:

1) CRA notice of assessment 2015
and
2) Please provide a copy of your valid Work Permit/status document or proof of application to IRCC to extend your authorization to remain in Canada. The Work Permit provided in support of your application expired on June 28, 2016

What should I submit in WP extension support document?


CRS: 451
OINP App Received: 23rd February, 2016
AOR and phone call : 18th June, 2016
Additional doc submitted: 20th June, 2016
Second phone call: 14th September, 2016 (Asked few more docs)
Additional doc request email: 14th September, 2016

Question please - when are you placing the order for the ECA duplicate report to be sent directly to OINP? Have you done it right after receiving your AOR or should it be done only after OINP asks us to do so? I am a little confused.
One of their mails clearly stated that no documentation should be sent to them unless they ask for it. At the same time, if it's going to be needed for sure, I don't want to lose more time later just for the report to be sent to them by WES.
Suggestions please? Thanks!

as per the instructions on the oinp site updates link dated 11th jan 2016, applicants post 11th jan are suppose to order for wes copy for oinp along with the application. prior to that date, applicants can wait and order only if requested. i am an applicant prior to jan 11, still i requested for wes copy for oinp before the aor, just to be on the safer side. so i would suggest, go ahead and request for it to have peace of mind.
