Thanks raj... sent to both lets see what happens. though I am little nervous don't know how my sentiments would be taken because I poured my heart out as it was really painful to face this long dark tunnel of indecisiveness... Fingers crossed

Let me know how it goes. I've emailed the Premier and the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration. They all tell you to get in touch with Ontario. The only hope i have is that the Ombudsman is doing something about the situation!

You wrote to the Ombudsman?

Yep. I'm an October 2015 applicant, received PFL 2 times, my language tests are expiring in 10 days and I would really like a decision from Ontario!

Have you not renewed your language tests? If they expire it may give them the excuse they're waiting for to reject your application or send you yet another PFL... Don't let it get to that stage...

Thanks for your message. My tests will be valid for Ontario, just not for CIC if I receive an invitation. Because Ontario is 1 year late on taking a decision on my application, I now need to pay again for the tests?? It's already rediculous I paid $1500 for this 'service'.. Sorry i'm frustrated as you can see :'(

I can see and it's perfectly understandable given your situation... But if you get a NoM tomorrow and your language tests expire and this becomes the reason for withdrawing your NoM you'll be even more frustrated.

That's my PoV, but I get that you're fed up and I'm very sorry for your situation.

Thanks, i appreciate your advice. Well up until now, i kinda hoped to receive the nomination from Ontario and to hand in all the docs to CIC before my tests expire...

I understand but it's now looking very IFy... If they nominate you by the 17th and if there is a draw in the 18th and if you can get everything together for AOR in the 21st...

What's your current CRS score? The number of ITAs have been increasing, CRS cut off has been reducing and will probably continue to do so... I'll wager we'll see a new minimum very soon, perhaps in the next draw.

May be you'll get a direct ITA! If you do and if your IELTS expires you'll be wanting to kill yourself for not having renewed it... :P

CHECK OINP UPDATES

Well given that they received their 2017 allocation in Nov 2016, there is no reason to think they'll stop nominating people, right?

The pending NOMs will come out of the 2017 quota already on hand...

CHECK OINP UPDA

Finally they have the audacity to tell the facts... hope the new appointee will show some more transparency

When did they receive 2017 quota? They are still waiting to be allotted.

This looks planned. IRCC quota also must be exhausted for 2016 with a huge draw.

May 9, 2016 communication (on the news page):
Ontario anticipates that it will receive its 2017 nomination allocation from the federal government before the end of November 2016, and the province expects to be in a position to accept applications for some streams in six months.

They don't say that they have in fact received it... But they don't say that ever, so there is no reason to assume they have not received it.

I guess we'll find out soon, if they we see more nominations in the coming days then it's fair to assume that's from the 2017 quota.

I'm sorry man! Well, you had the right to write to them. It has been so long!

Wish you and everyone else who is waiting for nomination good luck and all the very best!
