OINP Application sent in November 2015

They don't say that they have in fact received it... But they don't say that ever, so there is no reason to assume they have not received it.

I guess we'll find out soon, if they we see more nominations in the coming days then it's fair to assume that's from the 2017 quota.

If they receive the allocation for 2017, I suppose they would put it up on their website. They just said that their 2016 allocation has been exhausted.

That's the thing Raj... They never seem to mention that they have received the allocation/quota... they only mention when the quota has been used up. There are news from 2015 and not once have they said "We have received the allocation for XXXX".

Back in May they said they expected to receive the allocation for 2017 in Nov 2016..

Not to discourage our fellow members or anything, but for me, I dont think anybody in that OINP institution share any of these points of view (at least management level) and i do not think that they acknowledge that applicants have "rights".. for them this is just a 1500$ lottery ticket my friend. If they wanted justice they would have applied it from day 1 even if it meant hiring 1000 new staff.. or being transparent in their processing schemes not a guessing game.. not going by first come first serve order and all what we all know already.. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words :-*

Yup and sadly, that is a fact. They have an obligation to mention the allocation for the year. Once in Canada, we might be able to file a request under ATIP to get the numbers if they do not disclose it.

When someone says they are still waiting, I try to imagine what it would be like to wear their shoes and I go blank. The agony and pain of such a long wait (especially when their peers have all progressed to a different stage of the process) could be very well one of the most depressing periods in their lives.

I sincerely hope every single day that fellow applicants who are still waiting should see the light at the end of the tunnel too.

Yep. I'm an October 2015 applicant, received PFL 2 times, my language tests are expiring in 10 days and I would really like a decision from Ontario!

I am also an october 2015 applicant, I also received PFL on wrongful assumptions. May I know where I can find information on the concerned ombudsman? I paid 500 CAD to an immigration consultant too cuz I was sick of following up but even that isn't helping so far.
