It looks to be that the word "Nomination" meant in the link is EOI from OINP. Not the actual nomination giving us 600 points.

Yep! That is understood! I am wondering what's so special about November 25 :D .

Their 2017 Quota will be allocated.

Yeah. thats true. I found below in OINP website

Ontario anticipates that it will receive its 2017 nomination allocation from the federal government before the end of November 2016, and the province expects to be in a position to accept applications for some streams in six months.

The website run by the lady is based in U.K, and just a compilation of chat of her customer and nothing else. We are far better aware of the OINP and IRCC processing.

Allotting marks to CEC and taking draw to 500 permanently .....will prove to be a disaster. Instead they will find out a away to bring CRS reasonably down and bring out something special for CEC like some extra Draws.

This Immigration firm is nothing but like 100 others who guarantee PR in 8 months. I saw an adv. saying Canada PR in 8 months IELTS not required !!! And they had a seminar in 4 star Hotel !!! God bless those who attended.

I believe Sachin's officer was EC. Notably, EC was the officer for Skhanna, Vik008 too - they got nominated long back (they are FSW applicants too). PL is my officer (PL was Tarun's officer too. He was a Nov 2 applicant - He got AOR on Jan 29 and got nominated on 10th Feb). I guess its just my bad luck :'(.

They clearly mention in the AOR that there will be 2 stages with names Assessment phase and Decision phase. for which we shall be informed before nomination.

Assessment phase is processed by Investigator/Analyst and Decision phase is processed by Senior officer.

Only very few applicants who have been nominated got such e-mails. People have got nominated without receiving the "...referred to senior PNP officer" e-mail.

4 follow up emails & almost 4 months after submitting my additional documents, I just now received this in my inbox -

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that the file referenced below has not been finalized yet and is in the last stage of processing.

Processing is taking longer than usual due to the large number of applications in our inventory.

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) appreciates your patience as it works diligently to process the high-volume of applications received.

You will be contacted should further information/documentation be required or once the decision will be made.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Thank you for your interest in the OINP.

Sincerely,

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program | Programme Ontarien des Candidats à l’Immigration

While this doesn't offer me any acknowledgement for my submission, but at least they finally responded... I thought that they had me on a blocklist or something.

Gonna celebrate this lil thing with a pint now & gear up for the long wait! Cheers ;)

All applicants after December have recd same mail saying there are 2 phase after AOR. Assessment and Decision. They will inform us about each phase.

now there may be 100 officers, junior seniors in each phase that is different thing. What he asked me was how many stages or phase? and the answer is two as per OINP AOR.

The confusion is at OINP's end. They call it Assessment phase in AOR and in reply to mails they call it Second stage. Same way they call it Decision pahse in AOR and in reply to mails they say senior officer. Cant do anything about that

Guys, need your advise.

I'm Nov 2015 applicant to OINP. I don't know when to expect nomination and what is the possibility to get negative decision. I'm looking for extra opportunities for my immigration.

Quebec will open intake on August 16. Shall I try?

Extra fee of 1500$ for Quebec for my family is not a problem, if it secures my chances to immigrate. But I'm worried about my intention to reside in Ontario, sent along with my OINP application.

Will my Quebec application ruin my chances to get nomination from OINP?
Will my already signed intention to reside in Ontario prevents me from applying to other provinces, like Quebec?

Any suggestions?

Quebec takes 28 months at least to reach a decision

Thanks. As far as I can see there are points to reconsider with Quebec.

I guess there should be some movement in Oct or even earlier.

Well, I'm hoping it'll take much less time for you to get nomination from OINP rather than a CSQ from Québec. Just my opinion!
