don't loose hope, be patient and avoid panicking. I'd suggest you to wait till Monday and if you still don't get the AOR, simply call them.rainbow00 said:No AOR, waiting, waiting and waiting
Mine is also MPnoramime said:My case officer is MP but barely seen movement for applications under her shop??
Do you think CRS score has something to do with processing? Whom they will prioritize, since it seems like they don't process on a first come first serve basis? :Stanlee said:Mine is also MP![]()
I doubt it. There are plenty of folks with CRS close to 450s and waiting for a nomination since October.noramime said:Do you think CRS score has something to do with processing? Whom they will prioritize, since it seems like they don't process on a first come first serve basis? :![]()
As far as I know, no, CRS does not play a role in the order which files are processed. My logical assumption is that files are allocated to officers and they look at each file based on the order in which it was allocated (FIFO) and depending on the time they take to clear each file, the subsequent ones get delayed. In case, there is a document request to an applicant, then that file may fall behind other files when compared to files where there has been no additional document request.noramime said:Do you think CRS score has something to do with processing? I am not sure what your IELTS score is. IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that you should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculator herenoramime said:Thanks Stanlee, that makes sense. I'm just worried, because my score is only 401.
My score is CLB 9 (8-8-7-7), however, it dropped by 5 pts this year due to age. I applied with my commonlaw partner, but he did not submit an IELTS nor ECA that is why my points are smaller compared to single applicants..Stanlee said:I am not sure what your IELTS score is. Oh OK, the reason why I mentioned IELTS was due to the age factor and since the score has already been affected this year due to age, you are safe even if OINP takes some time to process your application. All the best!noramime said:My score is CLB 9 (8-8-7-7), however, it dropped by 5 pts this year due to age. Yeah my initial score was 406. Thanks. But better if OINP speeds everything up for all of us. The waiting is consumingStanlee said:Oh OK, the reason why I mentioned IELTS was due to the age factor and since the score has already been affected this year due to age, you are safe even if OINP takes some time to process your application. Hi, that makes sense however.. I have had no request for additional docs so I dont understand why it is taking this long??Stanlee said:As far as I know, no, CRS does not play a role in the order which files are processed.
