OINP Application sent in November 2015

Guy I have my wife's uncle staying in Ottawa -Ontario...he is ready to sponsor our stay once we land there...and we forgot to mention this in 'tie in ontario'...he is even ready to give us a written letter via mail..how do I present this in front of oinp...should I mail them or should I wait of additional document request and with that should I send this letter? Plz help

Please send ONLY the docs OINP requests.

My suggestion is for you to get this written confirmation from your wife's uncle along with a copy of his IDs (PR card, driver's license, etc) and keep this with you... If you get an additional doc request asking for stronger ties to Ontario then use this, if by any change you get a PFL claiming you failed to show ties to Ontario then present this. This will absolutely NAIL any problems they may have with you as far as ties to Ontario is concerned but I think that you must wait for them to ask you for it!

Has anyone got a chance to speak to an actual customer representative while calling OINP

Yesterday was a holiday for them and today is Saturday. I suggest you try again on Monday, but be advised it's not easy, there have been reports of people trying 10 times a day and not getting through... having said that, there is no magical way to get a hold of them, you must keep trying until someone picks up and you don't get the voicemail.

We've already had FSW Outland nom in Jan so I'm guessing we'll be seeing more very soon... fingers crossed!

I am NOV 2015 applicant after all this time waiting for nomination unfortunately , this morning I received Procedural Fairness Request!
the letter was long and standard letter but let me quote the important part :

The documentation may not adequately illustrate full time employment in your chosen NOC 0714 or your intent to reside in Ontario. Please provide:
1. A reference letter from your employer with details specific to the job responsibilities you performed in NOC 0714, or
A job description from the employer outlining the responsibilities of a Facility Management Officer, and
2. A statement of intent and indication of your ties to Ontario written by yourself

So guys I need your help/advice on what to do , I have been working as facility Management officer for the last seven years from July 2009 to May 2016, and then I joined another International organization as Process Improvement Expert from May 2016 till present, My employer is willing to assist me and promise me to provide what ever OINP requested but I am still afraid to be rejected , what I need you to help me with is :
1- Sample of the reference letter ( the criteria, what it to include , if there is sample to fill etc ...)
2- what will be included in the statement of intent and indication of your ties to Ontario . I don't have any ties in Ontario so I don't know what to provide .

PLZ guys consider this as an urgent request to you and assist with the necessary information.

You have to concentrate on your roles and responsibilities as they are very important.

I have PMd you a sample letter. You don't have to have ties to Ontario. They are expecting to see your research about the province. That's all!

Hi there... Sorry to hear about your PFL.

Just to add to Raj's message make sure that your ref letter lists duties that are expected for NOC 0714, you can see what they are here - http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=0714&CST=01012011&CLV=4&MLV=4

But DO NOT simply copy and past the information into your reference letter, otherwise they'll know!

Ideally give examples (much like you would in a Resume), so for example for "Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems" your employer could write something like: Early this year Ahmed oversaw the installation of our conveyer belt system...

And be ready to talk about these things that you did as they may call you and ask you to explain.

Yes... quite a few people actually... I think that so long as you address correctly OINP's concerns you're fine!

I read on the forum (not sure which thread now) of someone who had received a PFL as the officer was not convinced with his ties to Ontario. He was CEC working in another province, but forgot or did provide a decent letter of intent to reside in Ontario. He replied to the PFL stating that his company was ready to transfer him to their Ontario office and that he had family in Ontario with whom he was going to live as soon as he moved. He provided the appropriate documents (family's ID, house lease and a statement saying he'd be welcome to live there) and was nominated about a week later.

It's all about addressing their concerns!

Some people claimed to have received confusing letters with no clear concerns, whcih is a pity, in this case you should seek advice from a lawyer or perhaps skilled immigration consultant.

What you need to be extra careful about with a PFL is that it's you last and only shot to convince them to nominate you, so you need to be convincing!

Today again I sent mail to expressentry@ontario.ca but it bounced back stating that recipient's mailbox is full. Though I have cc ontarionominee@ontario.ca. Hoping for some response. This is my 3rd mail after PFL but no feedback yet.
