Correct. But OINP is not fair from day 1.

1. They rejected applications for trivial reasons, but they are sending mails to wrong id or provides wrong status over mail/phone calls.
2. It is because of delay from their side, people needed to send draft again. On the other hand, if somebody had missed draft in application package, they don't give chance to resubmit application.
3. There is no commitment from their side for timelines, but they rejected application which reached on 46th or even 45th day of PT notification.

"Ideally" they should be fair, but they are not. What can we do or what we have done or what are we going to do? Simply nothing!!!
We all have advised people for patience and positivity whose applications have got rejected, it is time for us now to be positive even after unjustice from OINP.
Perfect! This is not our fault. This FSW/CEC argument shouldn't have started. The frustration, anxiety and the tension has peaked in the recent days and the continuing uncertainty and the halt of any meaningful progress might have caused this brawl. We have to get through this together - divided we fall, remember?

The last (July end 2016) I heard on my case from OINP was that my file was at second stage with an investigator analyst. My application was received on Nov 24th and AOR 17th March. Even after repeated calls and emails, I havent got any update on current status. Neither have I got an additional doc request or a call from Investigator Analyst. My NOC is 2171. Is there any conclusion that can be drawn that those Nov applicants who could have got a call have already received the phone call and rest of Nov applicants may not get a call ?
no there is no conclusion.

Friends:

Earlier, most us have expressed our concerns through mails to OINP officials, Mayor.....and got generic replies.

Is there any way we can express our concern's to the Minister, McCallum?

A few people have got nominated without additional doc request. Stanlee and noramime are examples. Try faxing them - you might get a reply.

Good luck!!

Well, this is a provincial government issue. I've already tried emailing the premier and I received a reply from the MCIIT minister's office. I posted the reply in the Jan thread a couple of days back. I don't think IRCC will listen to this.

Thanks Raj

So, no options before us, except to remain in the state of uncertainty.

48 attempts!! My goodness! If your file is in the second stage, you can expect a call or additional document request or both. Once that is done and the officer is satisfied with your documents, the file will be forwarded to the final stage/decision phase/senior processing officer. There is no timeline as such; my file has been in final phase at least since June.

Wish everyone gets nomination quickly. Good luck and all the very best!
Thank you for your input Raj. Best of luck to the both of us :)

... Though I might agree with the "logic" in it, I can't say that is "okay" because this is not a free program. 1500 CAD is not a small sum. Everyone has paid it - FSW and CEC.
Fair point friend, my only come back is that in the end everyone should get 'processed' and barring any problems get a nomination.. ;-)

Yup. The applicant was asked to submit proof of job search in Ontario. Common problem from someone applying from the US. Has happened before.
I think this has something to do with where the candidate is coming from... If it's from countries where the general standard of living is below Canada's then it's taken they want a shot at a better life (most of us here), but this is certainly not the case for the US and arguably a few other countries so it will raise suspicion... If the guy went to the US, tried and failed to get a green card and then decided to try Canada it also sends a somewhat wrong message of "Hey, I'm a US reject, I'll try Canada now"...

I agree! I mistakenly asked if anyone had a go at figuring out some sort of priority and that by what I had seen CEC seemed to have had more nominations... so I do apologize if I was the one to start this... My intentions were pure (just wanted to have an ideia when I'd be getting my NoM being a FSW) I did not mean to start a big discussion on the fairness of this or that! Let's end it.. Please!

I guess this may be surprising to some, but then again if you have reference letters with all the information from reputable companies that may even have a presence in Canada and your POF shows a lot more then the minimum required, why would they bother asking you for more stuff? I'll take this a good news!

just that he was asked about his intention to stay in Ontario and not go back to US after receiving the PR.

@g126, I think the context that they're being asked to explain their intentions to process for Canada is that a lot of people use Canada as a backdoor.
This means, simply get a PR and also wait for US greencard or a citizenship.
The OINP guys probably want to avoid being a second / backup option for people.

Hey guys! I just checked my CRS on my express entry file and something weird is happening, my original CRS was 418 then it went to 415 and when I checked today it was 410. Do you guys have any idea what the reason might be? Thanks.

Strange, it is working perfectly fine for me. Try using a different browser.
