... Though I might agree with the "logic" in it, I can't say that is "okay" because this is not a free program. 1500 CAD is not a small sum. Everyone has paid it - FSW and CEC.
Fair point friend, my only come back is that in the end everyone should get 'processed' and barring any problems get a nomination.. ;-)

Yup. The applicant was asked to submit proof of job search in Ontario. Common problem from someone applying from the US. Has happened before.
I think this has something to do with where the candidate is coming from... If it's from countries where the general standard of living is below Canada's then it's taken they want a shot at a better life (most of us here), but this is certainly not the case for the US and arguably a few other countries so it will raise suspicion... If the guy went to the US, tried and failed to get a green card and then decided to try Canada it also sends a somewhat wrong message of "Hey, I'm a US reject, I'll try Canada now"...

Perfect! This is not our fault. This FSW/CEC argument shouldn't have started. The frustration, anxiety and the tension has peaked in the recent days and the continuing uncertainty and the halt of any meaningful progress might have caused this brawl. We have to get through this together - divided we fall, remember?
I agree! I mistakenly asked if anyone had a go at figuring out some sort of priority and that by what I had seen CEC seemed to have had more nominations... so I do apologize if I was the one to start this... My intentions were pure (just wanted to have an ideia when I'd be getting my NoM being a FSW) I did not mean to start a big discussion on the fairness of this or that! Let's end it.. Please!

A few people have got nominated without additional doc request. Stanlee and noramime are examples...
I guess this may be surprising to some, but then again if you have reference letters with all the information from reputable companies that may even have a presence in Canada and your POF shows a lot more then the minimum required, why would they bother asking you for more stuff? I'll take this a good news!

Well, this is a provincial government issue. I've already tried emailing the premier and I received a reply from the MCIIT minister's office. I posted the reply in the Jan thread a couple of days back. I don't think IRCC will listen to this.
Way to go Raj, corresponding with the PM! +1
