If you (or any of your dependents irrespective of whether accompanying or not) do not pass your medical test, then you (and your dependents) will not be allowed to come to Canada on grounds of medical inadmissibility.

I received PFL letter from officer NS.
Since I’m self-employed, with more than one customer, I do not fulfill the rule of 1560 hours in one year, but easily considering 2 or more years. I will try to explain all that as clearly as possible …
They are also doubtful about the “convertibility” of my stocks portfolio. I guess I’ve to sell my stocks to transfer the money on my checking account.

I think that's quite unlikely for a healthy person, but the reasons for failing the MEDICAL are:
- You are a danger to the Canadian population (so if you have contagious and potentially fatal disease)
- You are too expensive for the Canadian health system to keep you alive (so if you have a condition that will require a complex or expensive Surgery in the near future or require very expensive medicine)

So long as you don't have a complicated medical condition and are not suffering from a contagious disease you should be ok!

You have probably read this already but the medicals consist of:
- Urine test (if there is something abnormal here they will request more tests - example, high sugar in urine could indicate diabetes, etc.)
- Chest XRay - they want to rule out TB (tuberculosis)
- Blood test (HIV and Sifilis) - here if you're positive for HIV then you'd probably fall into the "too expensive" category as Meds for HIV are expensive and Sifilis if you're positive then they will request more tests to make sure that you're cured and not currently infected.
- Standard check up (blood pressure, etc.) - doc will take blood pressure, listen to your lungs, prod your tummy, etc. (again anything abnormal will lead to more test, for example, high blood pressure will probably mean a visit to a cardiologist, etc.)

There really is no point in worrying about this now (unless you know you fit into one of the categories above)... If you are worried then speak to the doctor, tell him to be honest with you and tell him that you'd like a copy of the tests, that should be a good indicator for you to know if you're OK or not!

Sorry to hear about your PFL.

Self employed can be quite difficult to prove, but on the other hand it's also difficult to disprove! If you can show that there was constant money flowing into your account and provide invoices to show that this was due to customers paying you for work then you should be ok. To prove the number of hours ideally you should have that in your invoice, if not then in your contract with the customer. Failing that the you should reach out to the customers and ask the for reference letters attesting to the number of hours you put in.

Stock is not a valid PoF, you will need to sell them and put them into a savings account so that they are unencumbered and readily available.

That is strange... did they not ask you about bank statements and showing that you could meet the PoF? Or perhaps they did and you thought Stock options would be OK and just sent them that?

Almost all the ADRs asked for PoFs, perhaps they just didn't say that stock is inadmissible at the time...

They already have all information on my business: Business and personal Bank statement, Invoice, Contract with customer, etc … (they ask for 10 years track record around 600 pages …) .
I don’t understand why they are so picky.

I got PFL on 20-Jan and I'm working on sending the documents to them, which will be done by this week.

I've sufficient funds to liquidate and re-send the docs they are asking. What do the experts in this forum think my chances are of getting Nominated?

The assessment of the information and documentation submitted in support of your
application indicates that some of the above criteria may not have been met.
Specifically:
 Possess sufficient funds and/or income to cover settlement costs in Ontario.
Funds must be unencumbered, readily transferable in a convertible currency, and
supported by bank statements. For a family of two (2), the minimum LICO
threshold to be met is $14,853 CAD.
o The documentation provided indicates that you possess a portion of your
funds in mutual fund accounts as well as a fixed deposit account in your
spouse’s name. Please note that mutual funds and fixed deposits are
considered encumbered without proof of liquidity.
You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to provide additional information
or documentation to support that your application satisfies program criteria:
 Please provide updated personal bank account statements for the most recent
six months. These documents should be original, stamped, dated documents
from the bank detailing account holder name, account number, account holder’s
address, and full transaction and balance history.
 Please provide confirmation from the financial institution that all funds contained
in your mutual fund account as well as your spouse’s fixed deposit account can
be withdrawn at any time and what penalty, if any, would apply.
 If relying on your spouse’s assets, please also provide a letter of support
confirming that you have full access to said funds.

If you can properly address their concerns very good I think! And you can quite easily do this I think.

Once you liquidate and show the right balance in you current/savings account get a bank certification letter stating the all your funds are unencumbered and readily available just to be safe and you should be set! Don't forget to explain your LoE how you got the funds in there - by liquidating these assets which are your (should proof) etc.

Since your case is straight forward I think you should have a decision very soon!
