Are you renting out a flat? So I guess they ask you to provide copy of rental document. Did they requested documents after you have decided to change address for correspondence?

It is quite clear he is in Canada... Why would they ask for lease agreement if you were living outside canada ??

Long story short, my passport gonna expired on 24 Sept 2017. I can't submit my passport renewal application before 25 Sept 2016. This whole renewal process take more than 45 days ( not guaranteed).
What should I do ? Should I send an email to OINP explaining my situation or should I wait for OINP, if they ask for my new passport or LOE, I can than apply for emergency passport that take less than 23 hours.

either is fine if you ask me...
hang on till you get nomination, then apply for new passport...
then you can send the copies of your new passport

or

apply for a new passport, then inform OINP of the new passport and send copies of ALL ALL ALL pages by fax and email

it wont affect your application, for sure

You need to contact OINP ASAP and ask them for file number.

I suggest sending a fax instead of email, they have responded to faxes a lot faster in the past than emails......

Hi everyone!

I'm gathering the additional docs that were requested and putting together a package. I have to decide on what to include ASAP, because then I'll still need to have everything translated and that takes some time. I'm a bit aprehensive and not sure if I'm on the right track. Would anyone care to assist? Here's a list of what was requested:

1. Payslips

My last experience as an employee was in jan 2012. We are advised to only keep records of the last 5 years in my country, so I tossed them. I was able to find income reports, but only of a few years (2009, 2010, 2011). I'm thinking about also submitting bank statements showing proof of payment, for the entire period that I need to prove as NOC experience. Do you all think i should? I mean, 5 years of bank statements in full? I thought about maybe sending them a few random statements from each year, but I fear that might not be enough. The entire set of statements is adding up to 146 pages. Just to clarify, I did send letters of the companies I worked at (signed, stamped, etc.) on my original application package.

2. Proof of business conducted with clients

I'm assuming this is for my self employment period. I own a coffee shop, so all I have relating to clients are store receipts. I wonder if it would me more efficient to send invoices of my suppliers in this case. I'm also submitting balanced sheets. Do you all think I should include some store receipts as well, just in case?

Here is what I recommend...

1.) Ideally you'll want to translate everything to be in the safe side, but 146 pages will set you back a fortune.. so if you want to risk it I'd get the the first few pages translated and write an explanation letter that the remaining pages follow the same pattern and you did not go ahead with the translation as it would be too expensive. You'd be appealing to the common sense of the officer reviewing your case so write a compelling letter.

2.) The problem here is that they probably think your business need to meet your NOC... Owning a coffee shop is not NOC A or B but it can help with NOC 0 is you can prove you've been managing employees... So write a letter to this effect and include your last anual balance sheets and tax declarations as well as some form of proof that you have employees. Again everything properly translated...

Thanks a bunch for the tips, G126! As for the self employment period, I'm not claiming to have that experience under the same NOC, so I'm guessing that's not it... I'll just submitt both supplier invoices and client receipts, to be on the safe side.

maribui: My suggestion: Submit what is required by OINP; the translated docs, etc
Leave no excuse for OINP. Why take chances for saving some money in translations.

Because translating 200 pages in Brazil would probably cost around $2500 CAD... so A LOT OF MONEY!
