Yes and looks like it's coming true. I guess they have an ultimatum no Christmas holidays until all nominations are issued ;DFly2Can said:I have already told that all OINP will be receiving nominations before this year's Christmas..

If you read that you'll see that the second item is already included in the first!!! They ask for 12 months of bank statements... and then go and ask for 6 months of bank statements again! That's a REALLY junior mistake!!!! Ridiculous!!!-Copies of pay stubs, and bank statements from a financial institution for a 12 month period showing payroll deposits.
-6 months of most recent bank statements. The bank statements should show your name and account balance
@Raj - The Super User ... I have a joint FD with my mother which expires on 18th November, 2016. FD was created on 18th November 2013. Since the FD is in my mother and my name, my mother is willing to transfer the maturity amount to an account managed solely by me and also sign an affidavit relinquishing any claims over those funds. Would this suffice or should I word the affidavit to reflect the surrender of her claim as a gift deed? I will get the affidavit witnessed and notarized. Will also attach the copy of joint FD, joint bank account statement linked to this FD, statement of bank managed solely by me where the matured amount will be transferred and from which I will get a new FD created in solely my name.rajkamalmohanram said:I would recommend showing the funds from a joint bank account. Showing funds from a dependent's bank account that doesn't have the PA's name is not advisable IMO.

Actually it can be different. People can have different bank accounts for their salary and different one for savings. That's why they have asked it again I guess. At least March applicants are getting something which was not expected until Jan and Feb were doneg126 said:Hmmm it seems that all March applicants are getting Add Docs Reqs... All DOC requests are really basic stuff, except for a few, there is nothing specific like we use to see a few months back (lease agreements, letter of intent, etc.).
I get the felling that they've handed off the pile of March applicants to the trainees to deal with and said - "Make sure everything is there including all optional docs like pay slips"... So everyone is being asked for these really basic things, most of which where optional in the application guide, that don't make sense half of the time! Take my request for example:

This is not only frustrating, but it's infuriating!!! I've said this once and I'll say it again, just for this request I'll need to sed out $750 CAD in certified translations, and it all that to satisfy some random nonsense request???

I don't think any of you should be worried... I got my DOCS REQS and I'm more frustrated now than ever... Honestly, there have been many cases of NoMs without DOC REQUEST, don't suffer worrying about something that is out of your control and not necessarily the next step in your process as you may be pleasantly surprised with a NoM instead... ;-)KKVerma said:Dunno dude
M too worried. I havent got it yet. I had applied to immigration agent and theor lawyer file the case.
They get all the communication and emails. I am just informed by th on the progress.
I am too scared!
Nope did it on my own. Keep following up with your agentKKVerma said:Ur and mine timeline is also similar.
U too applied through immigration services?
Fair enough, it could be different accounts... But I still get the feeling they are using the last of the queue to train new recruits... I'd wager that Jan and Feb people will still get their NoMs before the Mar people who have been asked for additional documents now... In fact I wouldn't be surprised if we end up getting another additional docs request this time for an actual senior officer who'll be making a decision on the application...aditik15 said:Actually it can be different. Hi Aditik15aditik15 said:Congrats!!! Guessing you are from India.
Form 16 is statement issued by your employer showing salary and TDS deducted.
In case of large deposit , you will need to show source and in your case a gift deed.
Could you share your timelines.
I haven't got a doc request or any updates since AOR.g126 said:Hmmm it seems that all March applicants are getting Add Docs Reqs... Initially this seems like a good thing as it gives us hope, but now I'm not so sure....
You're very welcome!KKVerma said:Thanks dear!
The only fear I have is of PFL
And what if someone thing major is wrong!

Actually I'm from Bangladesh. I am currently employed in a Bank and we get system generated Statement at the end of every financial year mentioning yearly salary & other benefits and tax deducted at source (It also includes voucher numbers through which my tax deducted at source are credited to govt. account). But problem is that it is not titled as form 16. is it OK to submit this?
My timeline
PT: September 21, 2015
OINP Application Sent: November 6, 2015
Application returned: February 18, 2016 (Due to missing passport pages)
Application re-submitted: March 14, 2016
AOR: August 23, 2016
Additional Doc request: November 10, 2016
I think my application din have any concerns...g126 said:You're very welcome!
I don't think we'll be seeing any PFLs in this thread until next year. Unless the candidate made a big/obvious mistake like applying for CEC without the necessary exp in Canada... PFL is a costly process in terms of man hours for OINP so it really is a last resort and left to the end. I would worry about that now, try to push that out of your mind until the majority of the people here have been nominated, at which time I'm sure you'll have been nominated also.
