CIC has published this report on their site
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-year-end-2015.asp

Now some interesting facts as of Jan 3rd 2016:

1- a huge number of candidates lie in the 400-449 range: 13,537.
Moreover, more than half of the active candidates in the pool have a CRS score between 350 and 449.

note that this range is the one from which OINP invites candidates using PT. Now they will have to revise the 400 limit score, as their cap will not be sufficient.

2- 1613 candidate lie in the 450-499 range. sufficient for more than enough for a draw
by any rate, the score will not hit below 450 in the foreseeable range.

3- A significant number of people had 300+ points then got additional 600 points: 646
people who do not seek nomination and they are below 470 has very slim chances.

4- On January 3, 2016, when the distribution was taken from the pool, about 900 candidates had a CRS score above 460.
These are mostly candidates who enter the pool following the last invitation round of 2015. You gotta be faster than CIC with your scoring.

5-The jump in PNP nominees being invited was around OCT 23rd (I got invited for this one). That was when OINP nominated people at their highest pace.

6- Highest number of invited applicants came from the 450 - 499 layer.

It is not a slim chance to be there. It's actually the norm.

7- Most participating Province in Nominations: BC with 1528! then ON with 871, and then NS with 656.

I guess it is early to compare programs with different schedules.

8- The two most important NOCs are:
NOC6311 - Food service supervisors NOC6322 - Cooks

more and more insights to see there!
