My thoughts about BG status (as per my analysis of majority cases in Sep & Oct):

1. "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." -> Can't be IP2. Possibly IP1.
2. "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." -> Most possibly IP2 after NA stage.
yeah but again it's all based on assumptions that's all not to mention people who didn't get any status update. the only sure way to confirm are (sadly) gcms notes which take forever

Guys how long is usually a wait in NA2 .. ?
it can be one day, or weeks. note that your status might not change. Some people get PPR straight from wht seems to be IP1. My advice is to just ignore all this, and wait until the 6 months mark

Little difficult to wait till the 6 month mark when mostly you see NA2 - IP2 - PPR in a weeks time in cases :)

Raise a CSE and ask for an extension.
please how do I raise a case? also my background check changed from NA to your application is in progress. Does that mean they are proceeding with my application even without the passport.

does every one in FSW category (outland) receive schedule a?

Hello today my ‘Background Check’ changes to “Not Applicable”, My timeline.

Now I have my BG status NA. So it went from NA -> medical passed -> we are processing your BG check -> NA. Just during one day.
