I called them and they told me my application is in queue for oath, it’s at my local office and it is most likely going to be an in-person ceremony. I am based in Ottawa. Do Ottawa ceremonies usually take this long?
You called them, asked the question that you were asking here about, and didn't bother mentioning what they told you? Did it not seem like relevant information? Does that seem fair to others here, to ask a question and not mention the most relevant info?

You have your answer. They're scheduling an in-person. It's very unlikely it will take more than 2.5 months.

My question was about sending them the letter my manager wrote, I didn’t ask them this specific question about the letter and how would it affect my timeline if I sent it through the Webform. I asked them an update on my application and that’s what they told me, that it’s in queue. My next step was to request them to expedite oath after knowing it’s in queue. The question I was asking here is completely different.

Are you sure about the visa timeline? June is a long way off and getting a business visa is not difficult at the US embassy or consulate near you. As a Canadian PR, you can apply from Canada and a letter from your employer would more than vouch for you. It is easy to prove ties to Canada as a PR. I'm not sure IRCC would accept this as an urgent request tbh.
The main issue is visa appointments, they’re not available in the near future. Hoping the oath gets scheduled soon so I need not worry about the visa. Thank you for your response!

Your question is primarily (only) relevant in context of whether you're likely to get an oath ceremony in advance (i.e without asking for urgent consideration). Hence being told by phone it's being scheduled is very relevant to whether it's even worth asking for urgent treatment and whether or not it would be treated as urgent.

Yes, correct. All green except Oath on the tracker. Since Jan 29th.
Which office is processing your application? Have you confirmed via GCMS, the call centre, or a fingerprint request email?

Primary office is Vancouver. On the call IRCC agent said my application is in queue at local office, which is Ottawa. (Event office is Ottawa). I did not order GCMS notes, did not receive FP request. I received test email from NGF though, but agent said primary VO is Vancouver.

If I haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks, I'm going to request GCMS via ATIP again. I am not sure if those requests get entered into GCMS, so I don't want to do too many of them. It will have been about 2 months since the last ATIP at that point.

I am trying to sign up for the tracker but I didn’t receive the verification code in order to complete my registration. I have been trying over the last few days. They confirm sending the code to my email address on their website but i never received it. I tried to contact them but I couldn’t reach them
Any suggestions?
