Since the email states it is to confirm physical presence, I think there is no need to submit copies or anything else of passports from before the physical presence period. (And I think you should not submit anything from before, will only confuse or delay further).Hi fellas,
I need some clarification regarding the interview request that I received for later this month. The email states that it’s to confirm my physical presence and requested to send colour copies of my current and expired passport ( during the 5 years eligibility) period. Now here is the confusion for me. When I submitted my application, the physical calculator displayed 1807 days and I’ve already submitted my current passport photo copy when I submitted my application. The current passport to me was issued in 2016 and will expire in 2026 and I don’t have any travel stamps on it because I didn’t go outside of Canada for the past 9 years.
the expired passport ( which I didn’t provide the photo copy to IRCC) was valid from 2011 to 2016, so my confusion is, do I still have to provide the photocopy of my expired passport even though, it was expired way before my physical presence eligibility started?
The IRCC system calculated my physical presence from 2019 to 2024.
Any input will be appreciated!!!
