Clarify in your reply that the expired passport was surrendered for destruction during renewal and cannot be provided. You should reiterate that all travel details were included in your application including calculation of your physical presence. Attach any supporting evidence, like a renewal receipt or travel records. After emailing them you may follow up via the web form if there’s no response within 30 days. All the best!

I have already replied to them. Is it a bad idea to send a second reply to add more to this request before they reply to my initial reply?
