You can ask for in-person oath, but you really can’t predict how long it will take to get one. If I were you, I really wouldn’t risk it.

Finally my wife’s application moved after months of no activity. Now Oath is scheduled(on portal) for June 12th however she is flying by July 9th. Is it practically possible to 1) get citizenship certificate and 2) get passport in emergency in 25 odd days period?

i dont know her application center as we havent received it on email yet. We are based out of GTA.

Based on what I read online, you can apply for urgent processing when you're travelling, they just need a copy of the purchased ticket.

First I would like to thank you all. Without you we would have had no information. Special thanks for John. I hope your case will move forward quickly. After the LLP, I received the date for the ceremony. This morning the tracker shows CLOSED. I am still waiting for the certificate. All the best my Friends

She needs to have proof that her travel is an emergency such as visiting someone who’s at the end of their life etc. otherwise the certificate should take 2weeks.

why does it have to be emergency travel? My friend who had trip planned(Disney) showed them the airline ticket and they got it done in 2 days.

just wanted to let you all know that I received my oath ceremony in person at Mississauga office on May 26. This journey is 20 months since applying in October. All the best

Missed reporting here, but I finally got my test invite, 20 months after I applied.

Got update on tracker on May 27, and got an email today, May 30.

Test window is June 2 - 22
