October 6th, still waiting here, did you try calling up to see if your application is classed as complete? Mine still hasn't been verified yet.

Hi there. Yes, I called about a month ago and he told me they were working on the background check. (I posted here about it a few pages back, I think.) I hadn't been able to pull up the application on GCKey at that point.

I actually checked my GCKey this morning and was able to link my application! It says "We are processing your application." They started processing the application today. We haven't received an AOR e-mail yet, but I expect we will get that soon, or biometrics or medical instead. It is so crazy right now. Finally, after 8 long months of waiting! I was so shocked when it actually came up.

I used Application Number and Family Name on GCKey. Strangely, I'm not able to pull up my application on ECAS. But when I called the IVR a couple of minutes ago, it gave me the whole spiel you get on GCKey and said they are processing my background check!

So happy to know they are at least working on it now.

Got medical request today!

It came before biometrics. I guess they are going out of order for some. Hopefully biometrics will come soon too!

Guys, what does it say on your online account under the Application status, review of additional documents? Mine says "We need additional documents to process your application".
Does that refer to the medical and the biometrics that I haven't done yet or sth else?
What did your status say? I just got the AOR but no requests for medical or biometrics yet.

No medical and biometrics are different than that. I’m no expert, but it might mean proof of the relationship or cohabitation.

A Letter will also arrive to you stating the additional document that they need...whether it is for Biometrics, Medical, Police Certificate etc. Anything that has not been submitted yet or documents that expired needs to be re-submitted. Just wait for the Letter.

I received request for more information a month ago that was sent to my email and that was at the same day they requested for medical but a request of more information is different. To me, they requested updated email, phone, and address. Probably because we sent information thru webform when we moved in January. So yes it's different information they are asking. Check your email or your sponsors email

I got medical and then biometrics to, not sure what’s the usual order!

Yeah, I think with the pandemic, the order is totally random.

I was able to complete my medical yesterday minus the labs (I'll do those later this week). I was able to find an appointment on the same day I got the request! Crazy fast.

Hi All, just to update. I got my medical exam request in mid-June. and today, I got letters from IRCC saying both me and my wife have met the eligibility to sponsor/to apply for PR. I think things are moving pretty fast now once you get your AOR. All the best and good luck everyone!! Quick question, since both I and my wife have met the eligibility, does that mean we are almost certain our PR application will be approved? Thanks!
