Hey, no, they haven't requested any documents yet. I did both medical and the biometrics and all that info was updated on my account, but no news about the additional documents for about a month now. Tried calling them, it's impossible to get connected, but I honestly don't think it would help much talking to an agent. I really hope this doesn't delay the entire process for months longer...
Did you get the sponsorship approved?

Hey I think the request of more information was sent to your email. Check your spam mail or if you have online account, it also shows there the request letter.
I personally check my email several times a day, spam included and also my account. I'm quite sure that most of us check everything every day religiously.
I know but if you see something like additional documents needed, they should have sent something. I had the same experiewnce. Your best bet is to call them and clarify.
I've tried calling a dozen times and I can never connect to actually speak to an agent. Always hangs up at the end. I emailed them about this a month ago and they never responded. If you have some other phone number other than the general one, please share because I have no idea how to get in touch with them.
Yes it sucks. I used to be able to connect to an agent but since last week, nothing! This morning, I was able to leave my number hoping I can just get a call back. It's almost the end of the day, and nobody calls me, so frustrating. That's the only number I know too, the generic.
I've been having the same today all day long, absolutely no agents around. Getting more stressed about my application the closer my current work permit comes to expiring, I just want any positive news from them at this point haha

Yes it was so fast from biometrics, medical exam, then they sent an email saying further information is needed to further process my application. I replied so quickly, then I am stuck on review eligibility has not started until now after I passed my medical, etc. And my work permit is expiring this month that's why I want to know what should I do after the end of.this month. I want to hear it from them, but nobody is there I think. I know I applied already for extension. Of stay when we submitted our application, but still having an actual document stating you are allowed to stay will be so great to see
I have just received an Email titled “conformation portal”, but I haven’t received AIP or SA, and the CIC status is still “we are checking your background”. The ECAS says “decision made” for both the sponsor and me though.
Is anyone in the same situation? In Quebec we need the AIP letter as a proof in advance to apply for social insurance card.

Did you click the upload document button in your CIC? The next page should suppose to have a list of what documents you need to upload.
