October 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi ,

I have a question. I am wondering to know the fee paid $630 for single citizenship application. Would that include Proof of citizenship certificate as well. If not do we have to pay additional.

when can we pay for certification that if not paid while applying for this citizenship ?

What are you trying to do? What status are you in now?

I assume you are trying to apply for citizenship. So its just that 630 for the whole process. once you are approved and taken oath, they will send you citizenship certificate. Thats your proof for receiving citizenship.

The proof of citizenship certificate is a different process for people who lost their Canadian birth certificate or Canadian citizenship certificate. Thats different.

I have already applied and submitted passport docs after their request.

I was just wondering to know whether we have to pay additional fee for certificate or not.
But it’s clear now after done with Oath they will send the certificate its included.

Ok. Got it now. You received document request to submit the passport pages for your citizenship application.

Yes, we will get citizenship certificate after the oath which is included in 630 fee.
We will use this citizenship certificate to apply for canadian passport (with separate fee which we have to pay at that time of passport application).
