Also, when I click on “application received” button, I see below:

Why does it say in the last line, “meet the minimum processing requirements” Does everyone has this when they click “application received” button?

Yes, that is a generic page linked to everyone. I literally just verified this by opening the links on my above post in an Incognito Tab (just to make sure it was not being linked back to me lol).

I got the update in ECAS finally, no AOR email received.

For the people who got only one line in ECAS tool and didn't get the AOR email, you can contact the IRCC and get the Application number and now you have everything and no need to wait for AOR email as you know that they started working in your file and the documents are complete also you have the application number.

Just give them the UCI and they will ask you some security check questions then they will give u the application number.

ECAS shows my application is received as well - Application was delivered on Oct. 6.
Such a relieve.

No AOR email though.

I have a question on ECAS - I recently got approval on the spousal sponsorship application. I was the sponsor. So I used to check ECAS for updates on that application until last month. I Itill see the same status when I check with my UCI.

Now my question: So will that change in case I get AOR/update for my citizenship application? Or do I need to remove access to the spousal sponsorship application from my UCI?

Just checked my status and saw this:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 7, 2020.

So I called IRCC today and got mine and family’s application numbers. Also got the agent to update all our info to same address, email and phone #. I was also informed my preferred channel of correspondence was mail and advised to fill a webform with all our details for it to be updated to email. When I inquired about current status, the agent sent me an email containing same info as aor and said to expect the formal one by mail or email (if my officer timely updates my preference). Also said that the app is in process; not in process when moved to closer location but in process of reviewing for completeness.

I also checked ecas and has the one line about app received on Oct 13. No AOR yet.

Having the same update when I login using UCI. No email yet.
