YEs, you can resign, as the application is locked when you submit your application. Any changes thereafter do not impact your score or processing. However, let IRCC know that you no longer work at the place of employment stated in your application via webform. No documents are necessary.
Thank you so much.. I appreciate it..

Hi everyone I'm FSW-O based in the US, AOR Oct 17, 2020, and just wanted to report - I've had 2 GU since early May this year. First in early May (don't remember exactly when) and just got another one today. The application status for each sub-item didn't change for all but it does seem like they are actively processing FSW-O (or at least for applicants in the US). Have ordered notes in mid-May so will get to see how things are going hopefully by end of next week. Figures crossed :)
Please call them and check the application status. Essentially over call you will get the same information as you will get in GCMS notes.

Hi,

Could anyone help please? Just received my GCMS notes and I checked again case analyst note.
I am CEC and also claimed points for Foreign experience.
I have RR and i know why but I just noticed " R87.1 - Review required". I checked here and there in the threads and I think this is related to CEC requirement but case analyst wrote CEC experience 1 year and 1 month. So why should it be reviewed?

Is this a mistake and should I raise an CSE form or just wait for the Officer to take his decision (RR) ? Thank you @caipsnotes @legalfalcon

Thanks a lot, @legalfalcon. I have one more query as in web form we have to provide details of passport . I should mention details of my old passport as well as my new passport or just give them details of the new passport. What should I mention the country of issue as a new passport will mention the place of issue as Toronto. TIA for your valuable suggestions.
Hi Amitesh, as per the process “country of issue” remains same and does not change even if the new passport is outside the country of original issued passport.

With case numbers dropping and 1st dose vaccination % approaching 70%, now would be a good time to clear the FSW-O backlog and send some clarity to applicants who have been waiting months without updates.

also seen maybe my 3rd GU just now. Nothings changed but it gives some hope

The first step would be allowing the travel of people who got their COPR after 18 March 2020. We can only hope for anything after that.

Can you tell me what your current 'Background Check' status is in the portal? Thanks!

Hi guys! Fsw Outland AOR October 2020 applicant here. Just today on this Facebook page I saw somebody from September 2020 - who got their COPR in feb 2021! they were an Outland candidate from Pakistan apparently. Only Outland case like this that I’ve heard about in months!! And way too fast. Has anybody else heard about any such movements? Or fswO applicants getting their copr?

CEC Inland here with AOR: Oct 24 and still no PR. Starting to get worried! Especially with so many people on here getting their portal emails.

Anyone else on the same boat?

Doing my application through a consultant and on my 6th month in April, the only update they gave me was that my background check was in progress. I asked to request GCMS notes last week and from what I understand, that'll take a month.

Called IRCC today for the first time using this number: 8882422100. Just got an automated update and background check is still in progress. They noted that no interview is required, etc.

No other updates. That's it. Just starting to get worried!
