Hi guys!
Today, I found that the progress bar appeared again on my application status page. Am I the only one here who had it disappeared since mid-January?

My VO is Ottawa, any idea about their processing time for FSW-O? Are they processing applications faster or slower than others?

That is so ridiculous. Two of you have the same AOR date but for one everything is passed and nothing is done for another one.

Its not. One is PNP, the other is not. PNP usually goes much faster. Except medicals, that PNP usually takes a bit more of time to pass.

AOR Oct 15 pnp inland . Called IRCC today . Eligibility passed , criminality passed, security not started (same last call a month ago).
@legalfalcon , do you know, Why security not started for inland applicant ? Why eligibility is passed but security not started? Can I assume that officer started but call agents cannot see that till the completion stage ?

Did some one notice, that our medical passed took on an average 45 days, but jan, feb candidate medical passed is on an average 20 days... I guess thier processing will ne much faster as compared to old candidate.

@legalfalcon is it true that EE PNP inlands usually processed much faster than CEC inlands?

No sir. First of all under the immigration law there is no difference in inland of outland applications. They may be processed at different visa offices, but per se, there is no difference as such. The only difference is between the EE programs, i.e. FSW / CEC / PNP / FSTW

As per IRCC's annual 2019 annual report it takes 8-9 months for an application to process. This was pre-COVID
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nnual-report-parliament-immigration-2019.html

How long did it take to process an Express Entry application?
Table 35 displays the time, in months, that IRCC took to process 80% of applications under each program. In 2019, IRCC did not meet the processing standard of finalizing 80% of all applications sourced via Express Entry within six months. The processing time for Express Entry, overall, was eight months. As an alternative measure of processing times, 60% of applications finalized in the 12-month period ending on December 31, 2019, were completed within the six-month service standard.

Data is operational and as such should be considered preliminary and subject to change.

  • Processing times refer to the time in which 80% of applications were finalized by IRCC. The processing time is measured from the day a complete application is received until the time a final decision is made by an immigration officer.

The security only starts after IRCC sends a request to the National Security Screening Division (NSSD) and screening partners. For many applicants no request has been sent. Like PCCs security screening also has a shelf life. If your application has been put on hold, then a security screening may not have been initiated.

Also not all applications go though comprehensive security screening. Inland applications only have record check. To read on security screening, record check and comprehensive check, see https://bit.ly/3apWglN

After a security is in progress, the GCMS notes are blank for security, if security has not yet started, it will say not started.

When you called, they should be able to see that status of your security.

Many applications are in the same state as yours, where eligibility is passed, but security has not started.
