same here its been like that since 5th January, no progress so far. I think it really comes down to Visa Offices now, someone got a PPR last week from London VO, AOR 18 Sep, IP1 on 23 Nov and IP2 on 3 Dec PPR 11 Feb...My file is transferred to London VO and I think yours is in Paris VO.

I was in panic, but now feeling better to know that we all are in the same boat, i guess until there is significant progress on Corona control our files will be moving at snail's pace. I wanted to buy a car now and move my place, not sure if I should do it now or do it in Canada if PPR comes...the wait is tough, april is just around the corner, our normal 6 month processing times would expire.
I want to change my job every day. Not sure if I should do it now or until in Canada :/ my file is located at HKVO. Another friend of mine had IP2 on 3rd February and PPR on 8th February. Same October AOR. HKVO.

Hi All
I ordered GCMS notes on 18 Jan 2021 vis getgcms.com. Yesterday I got mail for an extension of 30 days.

Hongkong VO has a reputation for fast processing. Fingers crossed that you get PPR this month.

Seems like the wait is going to get longer as inland candidates will be given priority over other streams.

We were waiting to have a child until we got to Canada. Our BGC hasn't even started yet (timeline in my bio). We've decided to just go ahead and start trying for a baby - don't want to put our lives on hold indefinitely.

I got a response from IRCC for a webform I raised about a month ago. I had specifically asked for information regarding my visa office but they didn't provide any. It was just a generic email. The takeaway though for me was that it was clearly mentioned that some visa offices are operating at reduced capacity which corroborates what you are saying that visa office matters alot. Btw any idea how I can find out which visa office is processing or holding my application?

You can change job any day you want. It does not affect your PR processing.

I got exactly the same unsatisfactory response yesterday. I'm totally relying on the CBSA notes for now to get any sort of real time update. (Hopefully they won't screw up again with their extension tactic.) I've tried calling IRCC just once in the past and it wasn't any pleasant at all as the call centres were shut.

I too ordered the notes through CBSA on January 15th. Yet to receive it. I ordered through getgcms.com

I searched the forum for other people who have ordered through CBSA recently and I found out that they are shipping notes on a CD now (which was normal before coronavirus). That means it will take 30 + number of days for the shipment to reach getcms.com's address. The person on the forum I quoted received the notes in 40 days on a CD shipped to his address.
select elecronic notes during application. Then they will not send CD..i think by the time I get GCMS, i will have COPR in hand..

I ordered through a website (getgcms.com) and they didn't ask me what option to select. I am pretty sure they would have selected electronic notes if there was an option.

I did write an email to them today, and they said they haven't received any extension based on my CBSA tracking number, I should receive notes by the end of this week or early next week. So let's see.

Same here. GCMS ONLINE is saying the same thing that they are following up with them and haven't recieved any extensions yet. Fingers crossed as today is already the 34th day. Phew.
