Did you check the new feature on IRCC website? It's clearly mentioned there that right now they are processing cec applications recieved in the week of 12-Aug-20.

The message also mentions that the status was updated on 18th Jan. Is it safe to presume they've correspondingly moved on to Sept 1st week now? I'm not CEC stream, so anyone having info/personal experience could please reply.
TIA

I'm not sure. I'm fsw too. The way things are going I am trying to manage my exceptions. Can only wait until they update timeline for fsw.

Hi
Did IRCC completely stop FSW-O applications and are only working on CEC+PNP application? I am an FSW-O applicant (AOR Nov 6) and no updates since January 19th.
I think other than Nigeria they're going incredibly slowly (or not at all) for FSW-O. My AOR is mid-October and literally nothing has happened to my application since the middle of December when I passed biometrics, not even eligibility passed.
It's so frustrating, I feel like my entire life is on hold with no idea when they are going to finally get moving again. I'm based in the UK where we are in COVID lockdown so I'm wondering whether the London VO has just stopped working completely or something.

@MAK1991 Good question, though no body really has the answer. I know it might be worrying that:
1 - new IRCC feature asserts prioritizing probably CEC applicants.
2- IRCC draw # 175 is only PNP invitees
However other applications should remain processing only in limited capacity. Vaccines are evolving now and this might end anytime. Just be positive and hope affairs get better soon.

GL to all

Same timeline. Last update in Dec. I have applied for gcms notes last month.

Hi everyone!
I've a few strange questions concerning my case which someone may clarify.

Here's my timeline in order to understand what is going on:
15 Oct 2020 — AOR
26 Nov 2020 (42 days since AOR) — Upfront MED: passed, Invitation for BIOMETRICS received.
27 Nov 2020 (43 days since AOR) — The status of the application was changed to "your action is required".
30 Nov 2020 (46 days since AOR) — I received an e-mail with "We're still working on your application", no changes in the application.
01 Dec 2020 (47 days since AOR) — I visited the Moscow BIOMETRICS collection centre, the BIOMETRIC number appeared in my application a couple of hours later BUT the status of biometrics remained "We have not receieved your fingerprints" (this status remains the same even for today).
31 Dec 2020 (77 days since AOR) — the status of my application was changed from "your action is required" to "submitted".
20 Jan 2021 (97 days since AOR) — I entered the profile and found that its status was "Application/Profile updated". Nothing special took place but my Name and Surname in the Applicant Information section in the top right corner of the web page were changed to capital letters, NAME SURNAME. (What the hell was that?? o_O)
07 Feb 2021 (115 days since AOR) — I entered the profile and found that its status was "Application/Profile updated". Nothing was changed during this time.

Since AOR, the BG status was "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" and I've not noticed it has ever been changed to anything else.

So, my questions are:
1) What stage I'm at, IP1 or IP2?
2) Am I right that the updates that took place on 20 Jan and 07 Feb were GU1 and GU2?
3) Is it OK that the BIOMETRICS status still remains "We have not receieved your fingerprints"?

Do you mean to say Eligibility can be started even though IRCC agent in call is saying not started?. GCMS would just expand the stage details but i feel the IRCC call center will be aware of broad stages like Eligibity started or not etc?.
have u seen case where call center says eligibility not started but GCMS shows otherwise?.
thanks
Yes, I have seen about 3 cases on Canadavisa where applicant was told eligibility "not started" but when they received their notes, A11.2 was "met" on same day they were told "not started". I guess the analyst didn't update the GCMS cos its the GCMS status agents read out when you call, the agents don't dig deep into the notes.
