I had a long chat with an IRCC agent on the same topic on Friday. I am travelling to India from mid Feb till mid March. She confirmed if I have valid work permit and TRV. Also, if I am working here in Canada. I told her everything is in place. So she said it shouldn't be a problem for me to travel and return to Canada.

But she asked me to raise a webform and informing any agent who is working on my file that I will be out of the country for these dates. So, if there's any additional document required or they need to confirm something from me or to take the final decision, they'll postpone it till the time I return back.

So when you travel to India, carry your Work permit and if you can manage an Employment Letter from your HR mentioning that you are required to be in Canada to work and you travelled outside of Canada for some personal thing.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Hi,

PR Details: CEC Inland
ITA: 19th Sep
AOPR: 20th Oct
Medical: 3rd Dec
Biometrics: exempted
Criminality: in progress
Security & eligibility not started

Background:
Last week, I was going through immigration related forums and would like to share you an incident which had happened in 2019.

I went to visit Niagara water falls in 2019. Along with waterfalls, I visited Rainbow bridge (Canada - US border) . At the other end of the bridge, one of the United states officer verified my passport details and scanned my bio metrics for security check. And, he asked a few questions on when I came to Canada and what I was doing in Canada etc. After that he asked me to go back.

We didn’t have any discussion about port entry or visa refusal. Because of this, I had selected “No” for the below questions while submitting PR application.

Has XXXX ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? - No
Has XXXX been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? – No

I am still not sure if this comes under port entry / visa refusal. So I had updated the same to IRCC using Web form last week. Does this still considered as misrepresented data? or IRRC accepts this and continues to process my application

Hi;

My 1st post here but i am a regular reader of group.

I have came across same situation i answered this question (Has XXXX ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? - No) NO also while completing my application.

I have been denied visit visa of UK in 2017 for not submitting translated documents where needed.

I have sent a webform with explanation to IRCC and my LVO (London-UK).

Guide me @legalfalcon it was right action or not ?

Some have even booked flight tickets, lolssss.
On a serious note, read previous messages, a good number of people have gotten PPR.
That's great that some got the golden email.
I'm a bit worried because I have not received any Ghost Updates yet. Is this normal?
Also BCG changed to "We are processing" since biometrics but nothing else since.

Did anyone raise a webform recently and got an answer?? I’ve raised one on the 20th of January and still no answer.
