Is it advisable to apply for the work permit simultaneously along with PR application? I am dependent in a PR application but I might find opportunities with my employer in Canada as well. Since PR can take long time , my employer is willing to file Canadian work permit for me. Would like to know if it has any kind of impact on ongoing PR application.

Ideally it should not have any impact. Just like to know if anyone had similar experience or knows people have done the same in past.

If I was you, I would apply for open wp with the class” dependants of the PR application”, so you will not depend on the employer in Canada ( with AOR for the main applicant )

I got my BIL today but I was only able to secure appointment for biometrics collection on 17th Dec. Almost 3 weeks from now. Does anybody know if ircc would still keep working on my application or will they only proceed after collecting my biometrics?

My AOR is October 12 fsw o. I received an update today to provide imm5406 form. My spouse is the primary applicant but in the ADR request only my name was mentioned. Should I include separate form for both applicants? Also, is it normal to receive the ADR request before medicals and bil? However, my progression now shows as 25 percent completed. Appreciate your inputs.

I am the Principal applicant and have applied for CEC inland. But my Spouse went to his Home country in emergency and he has no plans to come in next 2-3 months. Does it affects my PR application?
