I've seen people saying that they send out letters in large number, just wait for that date to come.

I don't think that processing time info is accurate. We are getting PPRs in less than 30 days now too when it said that the time would be 31 months.

They prioritize new applications because their goal is "finishing all new applications within 6 months timeline." There are still old applications waiting in their backlog. I have been waiting for 29 months now (still in process).

It is not "all new applications", it is "80% of all applications to be processed in 6 months" as SLA. As far as I can tell, some applications either have complexity that most don't or they either slip through cracks and are hanging.

Not everyone has a clean background. People have online footprints that raise flags.

Otoh, 2020 applicants and COPR expired ones were really unfortunate.
