I have *finally* received my PR confirmation portal email today! Still finding it unbelievable as I'm typing this. My details -

AOR: 22 Oct 2020
VO: Montreal
1st GU: 30 Sept 2021
2nd GU: 20 Oct 2021
PR Confirmation Portal and Credentials: 29 Oct 2021

I had ordered gcms notes once in April and nothing has been started. Called in June and same status.

I was active in the inland-fsw forum and had been reading everyone's posts on here. Thank you to everyone providing their updates. You're all so close! Best of luck to everyone! :)
Were you Fsw? Inland?

Hello folks,

Appreciate your help. I created EOI with dependent today. However, I have not found an option to add child in it. Please advise?

Hey guys,

Was wondering when do the holidays for the IRCC offices begin? I've heard they are closed for a month-long.

Hi everyone!

On 18th of October, I turned to IRCC via the web form. I asked about my expired medical exam: should I do a re-med or what.
And since that day, IRCC mailed me back THRICE (on 18th, 20th of October and 10 minutes ago).
And as you can easily expect, none of these mails contain anything useful.

I've no question, just want to share it as a new evidence that something is wrong with IRCC's workflow processes.

What was their reply in those three emails?

Hi, sufonama!
There were:
1. According to the situation in Afghanistan, we will respond to priority enquiries only.
2. We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process. Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can't give accurate processing times.
3. We thank you for your patience and understanding regarding the delay for answering your enquiry due to the ongoing situation in Afghanistan. We will respond to priority enquiries only.

Nothing useful. Thrice.

Hello everyone, very frustrated today. In 2 days it will mark our wait of 13 months.

13 months where we've been on our toes ready to uproot our family at the drop of the finalised decision which still is yet to come. Cannot move forward any concrete plans in our life like buying a house anew, starting a new job etc..

My God what need we do for them to finalise our file ? Our last 2 emails sent on 1st sept & 1st oct were responded on basically you need to wait - we'll contact you with additional instructions when we are able to do so. Man I'm actually angry now that they treat us like just some paperwork when it's actually people behind those dossiers with lives, projects and dreams.. posting this here for those in the same boat and sharing the same feelings

It seems IRCC playing hide and seek, just got email stating" We're still working on your application.

You may not have heard from us in a little while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date."

They are never gonna come on track

For 100% FSW O applicants here it has been over 12 months waiting for any solid progress on application, do you think we will get good news within next 6 months? Or it'll be longer :(

We should have an idea what’s at store after November 22nd. They will release mandate letters with the expectation for immigration minister.

250 Federal Skilled Trades candidates have been invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence in the 159th Express Entry draw on August 6th, 2020. Invitations were issued to candidates in the Federal Skilled Trades (FST) stream of the Express Entry system only. The minimum CRS cut-off score for this draw was 415.

Hello, world I am one of the recipients of this ITA.

FST outland applicant.
AOR is September 2020.
Second medical September 2021.

I got an email last month asking for an updated certificate of qualification (as it expired during the application processing) and another letter from a Canadian company where I would be employed. The latter is puzzling because I never got an offer from a Canadian company. The requirements for the FST program is Canadian job offer OR a certificate of qualification. Can anyone shed some light on why they would ask for that Canadian company letter as no where in my application I would have stated that?
